Initially I was a bit in shock because the zippers appeared broken however when I moved them they quickly fixed themselves. The bag is a great size for our needs (lower elementary). A one-inch binder fits a bit snug (width wise); the main area would likely not hold a larger binder so keep this in mind before purchasing. The side pockets securely hold an insulated water bottle and are designed high enough that the bottle will not easily fall out.As school as not yet started, we have not fully used this item yet.
