Made of high quality material

Kryptonite makes some of the best bike locks I’ve used and this one is no different. After 20 years, I decided to get back into mountain biking and purchased this lock to use while grabbing a snack at my local eateries during a ride. Being able to lock up my bike during or after a ride is key and this lock comes in handy because it’s small enough to carry with me while riding. The way it’s coiled from the factory keeps it from wondering all over the place, but also take some of the usable length away. However, it also makes it easy to pack away. The keys are proprietary to Kryptonite and are easy to use even when the lock has a bit of dust on/in it. I’ve been using this lock for a couple of months now and it’s never failed me. It’s a great deterrent to keep honest people honest.

I don’t know how they get away with this, but thank God I got the good one, or the real one. They’re selling two different kinds of locks for this kryptonite lock. The one that squared in the front is the fake one and it does not come with a safety clip to hold on your bike. The real one is as I showed in the photos, not squared but kind of rounded at the end, which is the very last photo. And just like one other reviewer stated he had a photo of one real one and one fake one. I just thank God I got the real one.UPDATE:10/10/2024. so far the lock is working out great I did find another photo of the fake one and the real one, so please keep an eye out for the fake one, that’s the one that squared in the last photo, or the one that’s on the left.(That’s the fake one)

I trust Kryptonite locks hands down!Firstly, I used to use Combo Locks until I watched a few YouTube vids of folks able to beat the locks....even the 5 digit kind....in a little over 5 minutes....So, no more Combo Locks for me! I needed a longish (6ft) fatter dia. 12mm cable w/a strong key-lock mechanism at a good price point. Note: I don't really need a 100.00 New York U-LOCK as most of my outings only leave my E-bike 'alone' for under an 1hr.This guy fits the bill on all points! Cable Lock has the Kryptonite brand and quality and is relatively light weight to boot!: Easily carried in my day pack along with other necessary bike supplies.If you need a straight forward, strong Cable Lock at a great price point...this one is for you!Recommended!

the lock was a great price and it long cable works every where.there even a mount for the lock but for me it not going to work out,not there fault at all.there even a water/dust cover for the key entry...a nice feature.its sorta heavy but that comes with the price of protection and long cable.....everything a trade off in bike locks...i used this brand before to lock ladders and tools on job sites with a lock just like this and paid alot...this is a great lock for bikes,ladders,brake,and so on to deter the walk off...note: anyone with a cordless grinder or a big bolt cutter can defeat anything..so paying huge money is a huge waste.this lock dose a great job of what its intended to do....DETER....not be bullet proof..

I love this lock it stroge as all hell and the move part work fine every time. It's only drow back is also it greatest straight. It exstramly drabile and relayable but it's also havey. It will likely never break but you my get sick of dragging it arround.

The lock works well and the cable is quite thick and sturdy. No issues. I would recommend this item.

Looks good and can mount to bike which makes transport easier

This lock is awesome! It is extremely well built. It has a mount that is solid and a twist cover for the key hole. This 6 ft. cable could tow a truck, I'm sure. It is a good length to go around anything you'd lock it to. It also has a life time warranty and the keys are registered. If you lose them, they've got you covered!

Se siente resistente la cadena, las llaves demasiado fragiles que siento que en un descuido se romperan, el portacadena que va en la bicicleta esta muy sencillo, he visto mejores que el mecanismo de cierre es automatico, tal vez mejor no lo use. En general aceptable el producto.
