This thing really works!
I currently do not own a desktop. I was looking for a way to connect tons of USB devices, an Oculus VR and multiple screens to my thunderbolt laptop. A typical large USB/Display hub would give USB and bandwith errors. With this I can now plug in my laptop at my desk and it will connect to my USB hub, projector, 3D printer, DJ equipment, Oculus VR, and many other devices all at once. Mostly no issues, had to replug once or twice but thats it.

Dock Stopped Working After 3 Months of Use
The dock worked great at first - no problems. Then, all of a sudden, about 3 months in, I keep having the video signal drop. I'll have to unplug and plug the monitor back in. Sometimes this helps, sometimes it doesn't. I've ended up just having to plug my monitor directly into my computer, which negates the need for the dock to begin with! Would not recommend.

So Far Very Impressed
Arrived today, and so far very impressed. I docked my laptop with included Thunderbolt cable. I'm still waiting for my alienware monitor to arrive, but they included a displayport to HDMI cable adapter, so I was able to test on my Samsung TV. Every port I tested works good, and I was pleasantly surprised with the added cables. The only reason I took one star away was the price. When I added to my Cart it was $169. A few days later when I went to buy it was $209. It fluctuates in price, so I waited until it went down to $178. They said if you wait until prime week it will be even cheaper! But so far, well worth the money!

wouldn't output video through DisplayPort
I wanted to replace a glitchy and much cheaper dock I have been using with my MacBook Pro. This one looks great, with the extruded aluminum case, has lots of ports, and seems nicely built. However, I couldn't get it to output DP video. It sees my monitor, had the correct resolution, mirroring, etc. but nothing I did would get the external screen to turn on. This is my work machine, and I don't have time to mess around with it all day. Unfortunately I'm going back to the glitchy dock that still mostly works, and returning this one.

Works as it should and requires no setup.
Using this with a laptop via thunderbolt 4 port.Connected to the dock is a mouse, keyboard, monitor kvm USB cable, cooling pad, USB speakers, USB headset, and a monitor.Running 3440x1440 144hz monitor via display port with no issues.

Works great, no issues
Works great connected to an ASUS ThunderboltEX 4 card in my PC. Much cheaper than other options, and I'm able to connect displayport (5120x1440 120Hz), audio, and kb/mouse simultaneously with a single cable.

Underperforms specs and unstable USB connections
The ethernet only gets ~730 Mbps instead of the rated 1 Gbps. My previous ethernet adapter can get ~960 Mbps to my ISP so it's not my network.I could live with that and just use an ethernet adapter on one of the many USB ports, but the deal killer is the USB hub isn't stable. After a few days use, at some point it just stops recognizing devices and I have to completely power cycle the dock—remove all power and all thunderbolt devices—in order to get it back. Also, the actual power delivery to a Mac system only reports 60W, not the rated 65W.This device seems to be repackaged by several other manufacturers on Amazon. I tried another one from Tobenone brand and it has the exact same issues, although some perks like included adapters. Since the USB stability is what really kills it for me, I had hoped it might be a small quality control issue on the first device, but at this point I'd just avoid anything that looks like it has this same chipset inside. (e.g. same combination of ports/features/price)
