Review: Does what it's supposed to do and good quality. - I recently acquired a used Sizzix Big Shot. It came with the magnetic base platform. I decided to get the all purpose platform since I've read that some embossing folders need to be run through with the all-purpose platform. I immediately tried it out and it works great. And it seems that I have gotten the last one on desertcart. It was a good price too. It does what it intended purpose is supposed to do. Good Value.
Review: Great for smaller projects - I use it in a Sizzix Pro and it works fine. Next time I'll go for the longer size just to have more room.

I recently acquired a used Sizzix Big Shot. It came with the magnetic base platform. I decided to get the all purpose platform since I've read that some embossing folders need to be run through with the all-purpose platform. I immediately tried it out and it works great. And it seems that I have gotten the last one on Amazon. It was a good price too. It does what it intended purpose is supposed to do. Good Value.

I bought the large Big Shot for large projects but found myself not using it because I don't do that many oversized cards, and the big platform was heavy and a bit of overkill for cutting small items. SO, I bought this small platform and now I use my Big Shot all the time. Problem solved. I LOVE my Big Shot!
