The sheet manages to wrap a queen sized mattress perfectly with no risk of it snapping from the corners. It's also quite comfy and breezy and doesn't overheat. the stripes however are a concern to me because they turned out to be quite disturbing to look at. If you get dizzy from looking at patterns this is not for you. otherwise a great buy.

Today is Aug 31 and I have used my brand new AmazonBasics Microfiber Sheet Set Queen Navy Pinstripe for exactly ONE week. The first things I noticed right away last week was that the flat sheet does not fit. Despite the great online reviews of this product they skimped on the material for the flat sheet to the point where you cannot tuck your sheet. Plan to (a) not use your flat sheet; (b) use your flat sheet as a decorative touch on top. When they say "fits mattresses up to 16" deep" they mean only the fitted sheet fits as my mattress is 11.5" deep and it did not cover the flat. That was my major point of contention now for my other point of contention given with a caveat that I have an extremely restless 200 lb sleeper who tosses and turns a lot - the fitted sheet elastic band pops every night. This may not be the case for everyone but I have been on the hunt (unsuccessfully) for strong fitted sheets and this was not it. The big plus of these microfibre sheets is that it is comfortable and soft meeting the needs of both us (I am always cold and hubby is like a furnace).

I gave this brand a shot instead of getting another brand last year. They're not horrible, but not as good. Should of just paid 5$ more for the other ones.
