Epiphone recommends the EPR5 hard shell case for this model. Most acoustic guitar gig bags will fit; try a Gator GB-4G-Acoustic.

I've had mine for 7 years now. Have it set-up like a Jazz box with heavy gauge, flat wound strings. Sounds sweet and plays like a big Gibson. I bought the Epi case for it and fits like a glove. This is a road gigging guitar, built to take it. The PR5E design is not a Gibson clone like most of the other Epiphone instruments are and from what I've been able to research, they've been making this guitar for over 20 years. In the past year, I've used this twice in the recording studio for its sound. Buy the Epi case for-well worth it..

Q: Is there any set up for this guitar before it ships?

Any guitar in this price range, needs a set-up. If you can't do it yourself, take it to a pro and pay the $100 (or so) to have it done. Well worth it.
