Another fabulous book in the series. So looking forward to the next instalments. The hardships, friendships, heartbreak and the camaraderie brought to life through these wonderful characters.

This is the fifth book in the Railway Girls series. It is so lovely to catch up with the Railways Girls once again. Their lives and intrigue that is around the characters, kept me glued to the book throughout and could not put it down. Maisie Thomas has a way of keeping you held to the stories of these girls, I now look forward to the next one later in the year A Christmas Miracle for the Railway Girls. If its like the five books it will be another excellent read. Thank you Maisie Thomas for such great entertaining reading.

I have read the five books in this series with the next one due in October 2022. The group of friends are introduced at the beginning of the series and each book thereafter tends to focus on life experiences of two of the girls. The books will draw you in and you won’t be able to put them down. If you’re a fan of Nancy Revell (The Shipyard Girls) or Kate Thompson you will enjoy these books I’m sure.

I have devoured this book in two days and it’s a really great instalment of what has been a brilliant series so far.This time we are mainly focused on Joan, Alison and Margaret. I thought they were developed really well as characters anyway, but it was a pleasure getting to know them more. You don’t need to have read the previous books, but I think it’s a shame if you don’t.Highly recommended, I can’t wait for the next one!
