Great Little Camera - Easy Setup
I've just received this camera and am pretty happy with how easy it was to setup and begin taking stills. Ultimately I plan to use it for security and that will take some additional configuration on my part.Ribbon cable attachment to the raspi was easy enough, connection feels secure.I then booted up my device and accessed it via SSH. Enabling the camera feature is fairly simple -- run `sudo raspi-config`Then select 5) Interfacing Options --> P1 Camera. Select yes, then once back at the main screen, finish and reboot. After connecting with SSH again I was able to run `raspistill -o test.jpg` to capture an image. I copied this down with scp. Initially the image was flipped due to the orientation of the camera so I took another still with the vflip option `raspistill -vf -o test.jpg`. The resulting image is attached.Image quality seems good, although in my situation it was relatively low light and had some backlighting.Either way, excited to continue playing with this!

Very nice camera for what it is designed for.
This is a camera designed for projects, it isn't designed for anything more. But, I have to say, it is a decent enough. It is a little fish-eye around the edges, (please excuse the messy desk), but it is clear and sharp. Really not much to say about it. It is a camera, worked well with my Raspberry PI 3 B+, easy to install, easy to setup. I did, however, use MyEye software to create a security cam setup so I could access it on my computer. This is going to come in handy as I will be setting up a camera in my Laser machine in order to watch my projects from anywhere in the house. BTW, yes that is a Smraza Pi case. I love the wood trim, I'm a woodworker.

Works well
Came packaged just fine. Box could have been smaller for what came inside to save wasted material.I installed it backwards first but figured that out quickly when the video didn't work. The red LED that let's you know when it's recording is bright. Not sure if there is a way to disable it or not.Overall pleased with the purchase. I need to find a suitable mount / case for the camera now.

Cable Mounts Backwards compared to other camera modules.
I was making another webcam using a Pi Zero and wanted a fisheye lens so I tried this unit. Compared to all the other camera modules I have used, this one connected upside down to them so I ended up having to make a change to the case to get it to work.

Good buy
Camera is pretty solid. Running it as a webcam with Raspberry Pi3 B+ and all is well so far. Only problem was attaching it to my transparent Pi case. Had to use tape. Would be nice if I could clip it onto the case and then stand the case on the side for a good view.I've only had two cameras and this is the best so I guess I should recommend it.
