National Security (A Jericho Quinn Thriller Book 1)

Well, where to start?Okay I did enjoy the start, Jericho Quinn has all the makings of an American bad-ass like Rapp but not quite as refined. There really is too much emphasis on the motorcycles and the riding for me; and I have two of my own.This story has plenty of potential with an Ebola virus threat on US soil. There was plenty of detail to make it all viable, unfortunately I had just read James Barrington's 'Pandemic' which was scarily more accurate and descriptive.All in all it was an easy read and at times fun, if you like the idea of a Rapp style of character saving the world; and I do.

Yes, you’re always going to get your picky reviews and frankly, folk who moan about the content when the genre and blurb are clear… this is the first book in a while that’s really drawn me in to want more, like the Jack Reacher series! Couldn’t stop reading!

A slightly predictable story line but this one was a fun read with good characters and did have some unexpected twists and also a little outside the norm. Perhaps a little lighter than some in this genre and also a compelling story line. Will try the next one.

If you like Vince Flynn's books you will like these also Brad Thor, its in the same style,the hero though is a little different, in Jericho Quinn Marc Cameron has created a hero that is more reluctant and sympathetic than most of his genre.Jericho Quinn would rather sneak in to places quietly than go in all guns blazing! I am looking forward to more books!

Marc Cameron has hit a streak of gold with his stories about national saviour Jericho Quinn. Some people will say this is Mitch Rapp in another guise, but I think they're sufficiently different to make it work very well.A good story with a lot of black humour.MC will do very well as an author. I wish him all the very best.
