If you are looking for an extremely dark, bold writing marker, these are not what you're looking for. If you're looking for an easy to erase, easy to use, and low odor option for kids, these are great. They do show up fine, but they are not as dark as some of the other brands. As I said, these are great for kids, because they erase easily and have a very faint odor compared to others. I myself use them to remove permanent marker from dry erase surfaces (tabletop gaming maps) and they work beautifully. The ends don't gunk up when using them this way like some others do, and it wipes away clean every time.

I use dry erase markers nearly daily as a teacher and while I feel like these markers would be great for smaller personal whiteboards they were not my cup of tea for my large whiteboard and having an “audience.” They write smooth but not very bold, and the chisel has edges that make it write weird. The pigment is also not very dark. Again, probably great for smaller whiteboards but not a marker recommended by a teacher for other teachers!

As a teacher I extensively use dry erase markers in my classroom. I specifically ordered these markers to use on my dry erase boards; however, the color is so faint compared to my other markers that they are useless. My students need to be able to see what I write on the board. Please refer to the picture for a comparison. The Bic marker is brand new and the other marker I've used for months.

Needed them for school supply list. At the time this was the best value especially since there was an extra $10 off BIC products. Have a couple for home and plenty for the teachers. Great value!
