This is the best brow product. I e used it for years and am always complimented on my brows. Easy to apply to your eyebrow hair. Stays on and doesn’t smudge. Only thing I wish is for a bigger bottle. I do have to buy pretty often.

For the money, this is my favorite brow gel. It really intensifies my brow hair color, and if i rub the brush against my skin it kind of looks like hair strokes. It also really holds the brow hairs in place. I’ve used this for years and have no intention to stop!

I was influenced by Mikayla Noguiera to make this purchase. It’s an OK product, but I don’t think it’s amazing. I guess for the price, it does deliver, but I am tired of buying multiple tubes to try to find the correct color for my eyebrows. The affordable price point gets expensive after doing that. I might as well go to an expensive beauty counter and ask for help. At least I would get the right color! The hair hold of the product is pretty good, but it doesn’t smooth my brows very well and often the tiny little ones are left sticking straight out. I even purchased a tool with a flat end to push the browse flat. The problem with that is then you have eyebrows sticking to your forehead like you’ve gelled them down. I’d like a more natural look. I guess I will continue to use this product until I find something that I like more. This is not really a win for me.

My brows have never been particularly thin or sparse- I’m one of those xennials that refused to pluck’em pencil-thin in the 90’s and I’m so very grateful for that! As I’ve gotten older, however, I am noticing the sparseness. I’ve always loved having full brows because it just compliments my face better. Before this product, if I was wearing a full-face of makeup I would pencil in, use brow powder or pomade in those sparse areas, followed by a tinted fiber gel (like Glossier Boy Brow or the ABH tinted brow gel) to set them. I don’t particularly enjoy spending too much time on my brows since it’s one of the last things I do before mascara & walking out the door and this NYX gel just checked all the boxes, especially considering the price point and the amount of product you get. You just can’t beat it! If I’m wearing a more day-to-day no-makeup makeup look, I used to limit my brow products to just Glossier’s tinted boy brow, or brow powder with wax to set. This NYX product changed it all! It does an incredible job of filling in any of those gaps with fibers and setting the brow. It works for full-glam and for everyday looks (with a light hand). One of my biggest concerns, since it is quite pigmented, was it running if I sweat, and just the overall longevity. I’m happy to say that once the gel dries, it stays put all day. On particularly long days (16+ hrs) I did notice some fading, but the tube is small enough to carry in my bag and it was easy to touch up without looking clumpy or out of place. I love the shade range, and the darker colors are quite forgiving so if you have dark brows, chances are that a few of the darker shades will work for you. Now, if you’re new to the world of fiber brow gels, follow these tips before you decide if this product works for you- 1. The wand picks up quite a bit of product and, like I mentioned before it is pigggmennnted! Wipe off the excess on the sides of the tube just as you would with mascara so you’re working with a little bit of product at a time. It’s easier to add more than to remove. 2. Start at the outer ends of your brows. The outer-ends should always be the darkest part of your eyebrow. DO NOT apply this to the inner brow first. Work from the outer tail of your brow in. 3. To make sure you get an even gel & fiber distribution, I suggest first combing the hair downwards, then to the side (against the way the hair grows), then up (the way you would normally brush your brows). This method works exceptionally well for those who don’t have a lot of hair to begin with. Again, take off a bit of the product on the side of the tube so you have more control until you get the hang of it. 4. Keep in mind, this will give you a very fluffy, full brows- if you don’t particularly like this look, you will not like this product. 5. If you feel that you’ve applied too much, take a clean eyebrow or mascara spoolie brush (elf, dollar stores, and even Amazon sells them for cheap), and just brush away the excess. 6. You can always use a thin, angled eyeliner/eyebrow brush with a bit of this gel to make more hair-like strokes if need be, or to outline your brow. No need for a pencil or pomade. Although this product is long lasting, it’s easy to remove at the end of the day with a makeup remover (Bioderma is my go-to) or face cleanser.

Ok, so I am one of those girls who over plucked on the early 2000s, we all know who we are, lol. Im 34 now and have more brows than ive ever had, but I have a really small tail and thinner front. I'm fair skinned and medium/dark blond but I dye my hair light blond, my eye brows are light to medium blonde for reference. I'm writing this review after using twice, and will update after trying a few more times. This product has a very large brush, which was the first issue. I don't have a lot of brows so it was very hard not to get it all over the skin around the brows. The spoolie that is attached is about the same size as a full size spoolie for eyebrows. Im used to using E.L.F. wow brow, which has a very small spoolie. It is also very wet, although this is a new tube so it may just need time to dry out a bit like some mascara. So, I'll try to get it to dry out a bit and see if that helps. Since it's so wet, I feel like there is a lot less fiber in each swipe, again, it may need to dry out a bit. It does have excellent color pay off, and the color is fairly on point for taupe, although I prefer just a little cooler shade(yes I know taupe is usually warmer bur there are degrees of just how warm). It dries down fairly quick, so best to do 1 brow at a time. It did have a bit of a harder feel once it dries down on the hairs but the skin felt just fine. It actually stuck to the skin much better than the ELF I'm used to, so I may use this on the very front where I use NYX snatched pen to make some hair strokes. Honestly, I think the size of the brow spoolie is the main issue, so I will try using one of my small ELF ones and see if that helps with the control of the products. All in all I'd say if u don't have very sparce/light brows like me, this would be perfect for you. If you do, it's going to take some work to get the product to work well for you, but it's not bad at all. All in all I'd give this 3.5/5 stars but since I can't give it a half star, I'll do 3. Again, I will come back and update once I've tried a few more times to work out the kinks. Update: Even after trying different spoolies and letting it dry out a bit, it just was not working for me. I did use a little on the front and tails a few times and filled in the middle with pen- it looked kind of funny, so no go.

Long lasting! I work in a warehouse over night and this brow mascara didn't smear or anything all night! The coverage is light enough to look natural but dark enough to make my brows stand out!

Dudeee… what???!!! Okay so. Got the nyx thick it stick it in black in the mail yesterday. Used it this morning and wore it for about 8+ hours. Application: not the easiest or smoothest process but we eventually got there It didn’t look clean at first but then I used some q-tip dipped in micellar water to “shape” my eyebrows and clean it off Okay, took some time to get used to the look because I have only used eyebrow pencil and this was my first time using a fiber eyebrow mascara. I thought since everyone hyped this product, it must be great for my skimpy light eyebrows. NOT! When the day was over and I had to take off my makeup for the day, I gently and casually swiped off the thick it stick it with a soft cotton pad dipped in micellar water. MOMENT OF TRUTH.. I FOUND 6 eyebrow hairs ON THE COTTON PAD from my right eye and nearly screamed, yelled, panicked, and had a heart attack all at once. I don’t have a lot of hair to begin with and to have SIX EYEBROW HAIRS FALL OFF just by simply swiping this product off made me furious ngl. Then I proceeded to clean my left eyebrow with much much less pressure and kind of pressed the micellar water ON to my eyebrow first to make the product come off easier. UMMM … NO!!!!!! No sir no ma’am!!! BOOM AND ANOTHER 7 eyebrow hair fell off and onto the pad. Omg I dont have words for how much hatred is brewing within me for this product right now !!!!!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND I DO NOT GET ALL THESE AWESOME REVIEWS!!!!!!!! It looked GREAT and i was so happy that my brows looks full and almost fluffy, but if 10-12 eyebrow hair are going to fall off EACH TIME I take off this product…. !!!!!!!!!!!! Idk what imma do to myself. NOPE, nopity nope nope nope 👎🏼
