A smart cube for under £12 seemed crazy to me so I figured it was the perfect present for my nephew. Turns out he was already pretty interested on learning to solve his analog cube so this was the indeed the perfect present. The cube felt quite nice and somehow smoother than my Gan i3 so when I saw it go down under £10 I decided to treat myself to one. Now I keep one in my office and one downstairs to pick up when I get the urge to cube. I'm not a speed cuber by any stretch of the imagination but I really enjoy it and this little cube is an excellent find.

I bought 3 of these for Christmas. They seemed a very decent price and I was a bit sceptical, but all 3 worked and were appreciated by the 3 recipient teenagers, all already into cubing but none yet had a smart cube.I did get some comments that apparently this is the lower level of smart cube and you can apparently get some more expensive ones, but these seem to do everything that a more expensive one would do, and are definitely good value, evidenced by the amount they are being used.

My 10 year old daughter loves this cube, I on the other hand nearly threw it out the window while trying to pair it with her tablet! In the end I worked it out. Someone could make a lot of money translating Chinese instructions into proper English!In the end I got it paired but next problem was when the app lost track of the moves we'd made and couldn't give us a "solve". Again, after lots of experimentation I worked out how to reset the app and now it just works.Quick response to moves and the movement of the cube is very relaxing.A good buy.....in the end!

Brilliant quality and the app seems to work perfectly on my sons phone.

I can't solve the cube with my method as with other 3x3 rubix cubes I solve it with a specific method but I can't solve the cube with this method

I was bought one of these as a gift - the cube itself is very nice (much easier to use than the old Rubik's cube I had as a kid!). I'm no 'cuber', but I can imagine this being good for the more talented than me. You can be really kewl by turning sides on it with one hand, but with two hands it operates really smoothly, but 'decisively'.The utter waste of time that is the app really lets this down. I couldn't even register (why registration should even be required I don't know). The app is big, and then downloads another big file before it'll start - goodness knows what all that is. What I saw of it was poorly translated and confusingly constructed (much like the paper instructions). Take a look at the reviews on your favourite app store before you buy this cube. It seems lots of people have no end of problems with it once they get past registration.IMHO, you're probably better off buying the 'unconnected' cube for less money than this one, and then using the plethora of online materials about how to solve it (worked for me!).

My 5 year old is interested in cubing as my 9 yo has been getting into it. This is really easy to use and the app is great once you learn to navigate it

The cube itself is great for learning and testing your speed. The biggest problem I would warn would-be-buyers is with the app - Cube Station. I'm on iOS and once you install the app you need to register to sign in. There are only 2 ways of registering: Facebook and WeChat. I don't have WeChat (typically used in Asia) so I went the Facebook route only to find out that the synchronization between Facebook and Cube Station isn't currently working. Now I have no choice but to download WeChat BUT to register yourself on WeChat you need to know someone who is currently on WeChat to verify you. Needless to say, this was a pain in the ass. I reached out to a co-worker who is Asian (Chinese) and she verified me on WeChat so I could register with Cube Station. Such a pain in the a$$ but for my son, it was worth it.

Ya me compre hace tiempo un gan 356 i carry y de repente un dia la app de cube station no me detectaba el giro de la capa amarilla,compre este para mi hijo y en menos de una semana el mismo problema la app no detecta el giro de la capa amarilla decepcionante el cubo muy bien su giro etc
