Two thumbs way up!
Just received a pack of three of these connectors, and I'm very impressed. They make it much, much easier to attach your chargers to your devices. Here's the deal. Each cable comes with two little widgets: one Apple lightning, and one mini-USB. You pop the appropriate widget into your device, and from then on, instead of having to fiddle around and get the charger cable lined up perfectly to insert into your device, you just wave the NetDot cable anywhere in the area of the widget, and wham, it jumps on, and you're charging. Pretty nice. The quick-attachment feature is particularly handy in the car. Typically your phone is held vertically in a holder; trying to get a charger cable into the phone is somewhat of a challenge. I know, you're saying "Just insert the charger cable before putting it in the holder, bozo." But I like my wires nice and tidy, so my cable snakes up the dash and barely reaches the phone in its holder, with no wires all over the place. I removed the old cable, installed the new NetBot cable in its place, and bingo, wave the NetBot charge cable anywhere near the widget installed in the phone, and it jumps aboard. Sweet. Phone charges properly, and Apple CarPlay is fully functional. At least one reviewer has said that the cables didn't work at all. I think that the problem may be that the 'widgets' are particularly susceptible to lint and crud in the phone's socket. I had some trouble charging one iPhone, but used a toothpick in the lightning connector socket to get out accumulated lint, then rubbed around some contact cleaner. The cleanup resulted in correct charging and data exchange. I went ahead and cleaned out the sockets in all of the devices in our household.I like the fact that these cables are supplied with both Apple and mini-USB widgets. I thought I'd only be using the Apple widgets, but wait: I have a set of rechargeable earbuds that use mini-USB, and for some reason it's a real pain getting the charger into that particular device. But now that I have the NetDot widget installed, once again, wave a charging cable around it, and it's attached. Same with my DeLorme gps emergency locater; it now has a widget installed. As I said in the first paragraph, I'm impressed. I'll be buying more for stocking stuffers.

Most efficient solution to issue with phone being able to fast charge because of bad port.
Works perfectly. Micro-USB and Lightning connectors included with each cord. Great quality and value. The best solution out there for the "wiggly port syndrome" for micro-usb port phones. My galaxy note 5 fast charges every time with this new connector, no need to reconnect until it decides to fast charge nor the need to repair the port or buy a new phone. The connector indicator light needs to face up for fast charge and file transfer to happen (just how the prongs on the connector works).Note: Reading other reviews complaining about the indicator light not changing upon a fully charged phone, (just to point out) most if not all phones have it's own indicator (light or notification saying that your phone is fully charged). I don't see any issue in regards to the connector because of this. If you don't have an indicator light on your phone to show that it's fully charged, simply wake up your phone to see the progress. It's not that hard to tell if your phone is full charged without the micro-usb telling you so. Sometimes it's not the fault of the product but the person using it. =)*** Netdot: I wish the cords were atleast 12 inches longer to allow more freedom in movement while it's tethered.

Overall, it has been great with Apple products, but not so with some Amazon devices
Product works great with Apple iPhones (tested with 5C, 5S, SE, 6S, 8 Plus) as well as iPads (tested with iPad Pro 9.7 inch, iPad 6th Generation). Power connector easily was connected and reliably charged device when laid flat on table. That said, it did sometimes stop charging or disconnect altogether when not flat or in your palm/hand.Plugged in the micro USB to a variety of electronics including a Verizon midi hotspot and two newly purchased Amazon Fire 7 tablets (ninth generation - 2019 model). It plugged in fine (though tightly) and charged a kids edition Amazon Fire 7 tablet with the thick protective case on. When tried on the non-kids version of the same tablet, it would not easily connect. Rather than force it, I tried some of the other micro SUB tips that came with the other 2 sets of cables in the bundle. Same results with it not fitting easily. I checked the plug orientation a few times to make sure that was not the cause - it wasn't. I pushed harder this time, until it would seat to the magnetic base. Upon attempting to charge, it would not so I tried some other cables that came with the kit. After those cables also would not charve, I attempted to remove the power connector from the socket - no luck without prying and using pliers. And it came apart with pieces still in the socket of the tablet. That was disappointing and frustrating.Overall, it seems like a quality made cable kit, but fitment on some devices, like the newest Amazon Fire 7 tablet from 2019 may be an issue.

It’s okay but..
I got these because my husband is a roofer and a house builder and his iPhone case doesn’t have the thing to block stuff from getting into his charging port. This was a great idea, till the magnets get clogged and or don’t charge properly because they are full of metal pieces. Don’t use his and he doesn’t use mine. I’m a stay at home mom, and I have an insane amount of metal pieces like tinies or tiniest pieces and it doesn’t hold it as well.Otherwise it’s a fast charge in the car, and decent in the apartment. The other thing is it’s hard to keep it plugged in if youre still Trying to use your phone
