Dyna-Glo Signature Series DGSS962CBO-D Barrel Charcoal Grill & Side Firebox

This is not the typical flimsy offset smoker from the big box store off the freeway, this thing is made out of thick steel, it’s heavy, maintains heat very well, it’s big so you have enough room to cook for one of 20.

Love this combo smoker and grill. Well made. Evenly distributes smoke and heat. Only missing a drip catcher. Highly recommend

Would give it five star if: 1. It had an ashtray for the main chamber, 2. I didn't have to twist the main lid to make it tight, 3. The grates were just a bit tighter between the rungs and 4. The thermometer where accurate. But I'm very happy with it. Great for smoking ribs. Have enough real estate to fit 23 ribs on vertical racks. Also great for direct grilling in the main chamber. Big enough to make three heat zones.But the thermometer where awful. Either shows -50F when grill is not lot and outside temperature is 85. As soon as I light it up, shows max temp. Never anything in between. Might have got a lemon. $8 replacement fixed that.

The product is fine. However- the pit and the smoker were delivered to two different addresses. Both labels noted the correct deliver -to address. The main body - which is extremely heavy- was delivered to a house one block away. I had to buy a two-wheel dolly ( which cost me $80) and go get this box- by myself. I had to load it in my truck and bring it back to my house. Very inconvenient and it’s not a good thing to have to lift something so heavy.
