I have 2 x 17yr old cats, and one of my cats had surgery for ear cancer, they removed her ear.I wanted something to hydrate both my cats as they are now geriatric, kidney disease is a problem at this age and I’m very very hesitant to use drug therapy at this age as it has side affects.Both my geriatric cats absolutely devoured this! And for the small amount they have it’ll last for a while! This is brilliant, as my cat doesn't drink very much it's ideal to pour over her food, and she thoroughly enjoys it. It's a bit pricy but worth it.

Brought this to try and get my dog to drink more. At first he didn’t like it, but mixed in with his food works a charm. Disappointed that it only lasts 3-5 days once opened (I did freeze the rest though!) it’s an expensive item and as my little man is too fussed I wouldn’t buy again.

My 19 year old cat had stopped eating and despite trying him with all his favourite foods, raw chicken breast, haddock fillet, prawns - yes, he's spoilt! - he just sniffed and walked away despite appearing to want to eat. He's been sick a couple of times the week before and his wellness/thyroid bloods- he's on a quite high dose of Thyronorm - that week had shown slightly raised white cell count. He had eaten next to nothing for a whole week, so I took him back to the vet who gave him an anti emetic jab and we discussed putting him to sleep on Monday if he hadn't eaten over the weekend. He's been my constant companion since I adopted him aged 4, and I dread losing him, although I know I can't have him forever. I'd ordered some chicken bone broth from Karnlea and it had arrived yesterday. I poured some in his bowl when we got back from the vets and to my amazement, he drank the lot and then another 3 bowls, kept going back to it and asking for more. This morning, he had eaten some chicken and haddock overnight and then has drunk another two small cat food bowls of Karnlea. I'm hoping it may give him a few more weeks if he carries on picking up again. If so it will be nothing short of a miracle.

Do not risk it. My healthy 16 yr BS cat became very ill after trying this “gravy” for the 1st time. It was very upsetting.

I was skeptical at first about whether my British Shorthair would take to the Chicken Bone Broth, but it turned out to be a huge hit! As soon as I opened the lid, she was all over it. Mixing this into her regular food transformed mealtime – she lapped up every bit and finished her bowl with enthusiasm.This bone broth is fantastic for adding extra hydration to our kitty's diet, and it's clearly a high-quality product. My cat is notoriously picky, yet she absolutely loved this. I couldn’t be happier with how it improved her eating habits.Pros:* Extra Hydration: Great for keeping pets hydrated.* High Quality: My fussy cat loves it, which says a lot.* Health Benefits: High in collagen and protein for healthy joints, gut, digestion, skin, and recovery.Cons:* Packaging: The packaging is a bit flimsy and arrived slightly damaged, as shown in the photo.* Storage: After opening, it needs to be stored in the freezer for broth ice cube treats or in the fridge for up to 5 days. This does, however, attest to its freshness.Despite these minor issues, the product’s quality shines through. The benefits far outweigh the packaging inconvenience, making it a solid 5-star product in my book.I highly recommend the Bone Broth for any pet owner looking to enhance their furry friend’s diet. It’s a game-changer!
