In December of 2020 we lost my Dad to Covid. My parents were living in an assisted living community at the time and Covid cases were many. Dad lost his battle after two weeks. The community was on lockdown. The hospital was on lockdown. I was 1500 miles away. We all had to go it alone. My mom made it past the grief and sorrow once we were able to bring her to our home. She has a place of her own now. I wanted to honor her spirit and was looking for some way to tell her how amazing and courageous she is. And then I saw this necklace.
