Women's GT-2000 10 Running Shoes

I’m an ASICS GT 2000 gal and this 10 series is the best. Same arch support and spacious toe box but now they have added extra cushioning. I walk about 3 miles every day and these are my favorite.

The plus is the size in narrow fit very well. The negative is the quality - I got the shoes around 2021 thanksgiving- they already feel stretched out in the front of the shoe. I wear custom orthotics so maybe it’s from that but I’ve always worn orthotics in my Asics and never noticed that situation before. Second although the heel area was very comfortable it’s not very durable. I learned that when putting the shoe on and accidentally pushed down on the heel - it collapsed and I can’t straighten it back up right - so now I feel a lump in the back of my heel when wearing the shoe. Never had that problem with Asics before. So for me these are a “no” - a very expensive “no.”

Asics brand is the only one that really fits my awkward foot (very narrow heel, but average toe-box size). I ordered my usual 10 Narrow and the fit is excellent. I wear 9 1/2 Narrow in all other shoes, but in Asics the 10 works better The positives: I love them! This shoe is ultra lightweight. The comfort insert is immediately noticeable and there was no " breaking in" period. They feel so good on my feet! I also like the dark gray with fuchia pink trim...no too girlie but still feminine. The heel fits perfectly and I was pleasantly surprised with the roomy toe-box. The only reason I gave this shoe less than 5 of 5 is that I find myself wishing for a little more arch support. Also, I am wondering how well the ultra lightweight materials will hold up over time. Otherwise, I am very happy with this purchase and can easily recommend!

This is my 4th pair of Asics GT-2000s in the past 10 (?) years. When they wear out, I get a newer "generation" and each one is as good or better than the others. I have wide feet and these are reliably comfortable and fit immediately. I use them a lot for walking (I'm not a runner). No need to go to a store to try them on - this is the 2nd pair I've ordered through Amazon. The price is about the same all over. It would be nice if they never wore out, but its worth the money to get new ones when they do.

I have overpronation and wanted to try a different ASICS shoe. I like Kayano. This shoe is as supportive as the Kayano with strong heel. Comfortable with a little toe wiggle room. Like these better than GT-1000.

I have a lot of issues with my feet and comfortable shoes are hard to find. I wear a narrow shoe, so that narrows down the selection substantially. I saw that the Asics GT-2000 came in a narrow size in a color I like, so I decided to try them. They offer a good deal of support and cushioning, and I like the color. They are very comfortable. I ordered my usual size, 8-narrow, and they fit perfect. There is also room for my heel lift that I have to wear since a knee replacement. Just wish Asics offered the narrow sizes in other colors.

I almost never write reviews but these shoes are impressive! I’ve been wearing ASICS running shoes for 11 years….specifically the Asics GT-2000 series. I have at least 15-20 pair throughout the series but this latest model is definitely a favorite!! Light-weight, but supportive feel. Love them!

I usually wear the asics keyano but I purchased these for work where I’m on my feet constantly standing or walking. The foam order the toe is fantastic , will definitely purchase again 😊
