I replaced the original plastic cold water inlet to my RV with brass fittings after having a leak. The valve worked perfectly and I haven’t experienced any additional leaks.

Please learn the meaning of National Pipe Taper and NPS and why would you offer it as NPT when it's NPT on the female side and NPS on the male side? Straight thread is not going to fit Into a NPTF fitting. It will always leak and will not seat. Your Fittings are a odd thread, they will fit together to themselves in both configurations, but not to American piping,. So I assume not only is the male side NPS but also a ridiculous metric sizing not compatible with any American standard.

This part worked great for me after getting an adapter for the correct threading. I used this part under high pressure compressed air and so far it has held up against 150 psi. I turned an old broken compressor into an inline auxiliary air tank/portable air tank. Would have given 5 stars if it had stated that the threads are not standard US NPT threads. The threads are NPS threads which are straight while NPS threads are tapered. Good product though

Seemed to be decent at 1st but one broke on me. Guess we'll see if the 2nd holds up

I looked all over and could only find valves that worked in the other direction. The wrong direction for my application. This valve has solved my problem!
