My daughter is enjoying the funny stories. Drawings are nice as well. It comes with stickers and 2 activities with words seen in the story.

I love these books, this is the third set I’ve purchased and my 5 year old is thriving. Her reading skills are blossoming from these books, we read them together and she reads them out loud on her own. They are fun, engaging and wonderful at home practice for skills learned in the classroom and reinforced at home.

I am a former teacher, returned home, school, mom and I’m so picky about the resources. I use a lot of books like these have really dumb storylines that are hard for kids to get into but my kid who is struggling with enjoying reading loves these and I do too.

My son enjoyed set 1/red and set 2/blue. These are teaching the concepts but they're not as interesting as the other 2 sets.

I work in a school and we have added these (and the related sets) to the reading support in a 1st grade classrooms. They have proven to be high engagement for targeted reading practice. The parent guide is also helpful for working with kids outside of school.

Trying to get my kid interested in reading and he loves anything funny. I thought this would be perfect but there's actually nothing funny about these. They're fine phonics readers I suppose but there's not a single joke or Google in the whole pack so I have no idea why they're labeled as 'laughs'.
