10 Strawberry Street Plate Giving Platter, 15", Black/White

I ordered this with the hope it would become a nice tradition for our family to pass back and forth with cookies and other things but unfortunately it arrived cracked, despite it seeming fairly heavy and durable. I don't fault the manufacturer and maybe whomever packed it, it was likely due to delivery processing but all the same, we were bummed it was broken. This worries me from the standpoint of it being intended to pass back and forth in our family, I wonder if it would have held up?Aside from it being broken, it is a nice design, not too loud and appropriate for holidays. It looks nice and feels hefty.

Pretty but am returning platter. It is too big and too heavy. Passing it to family/friends with food - it’s turkey sized. I envisioned cookies etc. My bad not looking closely at dimensions. It came with very thin bubble wrap that didn’t cover all of it. Was packed in a flimsy box inside of a big box with odd shaped cardboard pieces as filler for protection. I used the last of my bubble wrap to cover it back up then reinforced the flimsy box and packed it back into big shipping box. Way too much trouble for returning so this is my last foray with buying from 3rd party shippers.

We presented the plate with brownies to our hostess after a charity walk. It was a big hit with everyone, so we immediately ordered 13 more, taking us to 17. A few arrived broken and were replaced immediately. The fun of giving them away is nice, but the expression of joy by the recipient is even better.

Christmas Gift to replace a similar plate that was broken recently. Similar sentiment written on plate. Very nice plate.

Made in China, this platter is fantastic! I was expecting a small platter for a few cookies with the graphic printed on it. When it came, it floored me!It came packaged in a rather thin box with a piece of bubble wrap around it. There were some odd cardboard triangles as filler in a bigger box to keep it safe and they did their job. Zoom in to the first picture for a better look at the packing material.Back to the platter...This is really large and somewhat deeper than I thought it would be. The lettering is in the plate and the shiny glaze doesn't cover the lettering and heart. I am really fond of the old typewriter look of the typeface. There's a black rim around it.The platter is large and if you enlarge the 4th picture you can see it in my cookie sheet which measures 12 x 17. So, you can see that it is a seriously large platter!It's also nice and thick like a diner platter or plate which I really like as well. It says no microwave and hand wash.I am part of a group of friends who like to celebrate our birthdays throughout the year together. We usually go out somewhere and just enjoy several hours together laughing and celebrating another year for our friends. I am going to start a new tradition with this platter. I will take a treat, probably cupcakes, but maybe some special cookies for everyone and then let the birthday girl take it with her and pass it along to the next one filled with goodies. Another layer of celebrating great friends! The only bad part of this plate is that it is so well done and nice that I hate to give it away! But, in a year, it will be back for a short time once again. :)This is an exceptional platter meant to make someone happy and to pay it forward and I expect that it will do just that! Great for any reason to give a special treat to someone and leave it to be passed along.Recommend.

I selected this platter with the idea of sharing at potlucks and holiday seasons. I expected a nice platter that had the words printed on it, but I was not expecting the platter to be quite this nice. It's better than expected.This is a large oval dish, off-white with black lettering and a red heart. It's coated in smooth glaze, and I expected the lettering to simply be painted on. Not so - the lettering is actually on the platter itself and the glaze does not cover it, so the lettering can actually be felt. So, the lettering is not going to fade or wash off over time.The glaze is smooth and I found no blemishes on the top part of the platter. I found a single small bubble in the glaze underneath, where it will not be seen unless the platter is turned over or is being washed. Otherwise, the platter I received is flawless.The wording on the platter makes the intent clear - this is a platter for sharing and passing along to others. Filled with cookies, baked goods or even a fruit assortment, this is a wonderful gift idea for sharing - welcoming people to a neighborhood, welcoming someone to church, consoling someone who is down...the list of ideas goes on.I love this platter and will miss it once we pass it on. I plan to buy more of these, as the idea behind it is wonderful.

This 10 Strawberry Street Plate Giving Platter is an absolute adorable way to share a special baked good or recipe with friends and family. It is very generously sized ( 15 x 11 x 1.5 inches ) and made of a thick ceramic. There are a lot of imperfections in the glaze/paint, but nothing that stands out significantly. I would recommend hand-washing or lightly wiping down to preserve the finish.I has a nice engraved/recessed message and will surely be well received for the person or family it is shared with. The price is fair for such a nicely sized platter. Would definitely recommend this platter for starting a new tradition of sharing! :)

Both plates arrived at approximately 12:10, June 27th, box not marked fragile, and both plates are broken. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to giving them as gifts.June 29th, I am still awaiting a reply regarding the plates. I would either appreciate a full refund ($78.00) or replacement plates.
