very nice piece , great gift for someone who uses Japanese brushes . i though it was a bit tall until i started to hang my favorite brushes but it turns out just the right height, all Japanese brushes have long handles and you dont realize this untill you get one of these hangers. Japanese brushes are always hung with the bristles facing down. And they almost always have a small loop at the end. Perfect height will fit most brushes , except the really large ones they are kept in bamboo roll up mats.

The brush hanger arrived incredibly fast (a week before earliest stated delivery date), but unfortunately as soon as I picked up the box, I could hear broken pieces tinkling around inside of the box. When I opened it, the pieces had just been thrown loosely into the box, without protection. One of the brace pieces had come off of the base and a little scroll on the other side had snapped off. Other than that, the piece assembled fairly well with a little care and wiggling, and it looks very nice. After a little wood glue and wire and tape, it should do very nicely. I understand things can happen when shipping is free and the price of the item is incredibly low, but it would be nice if the seller would individually bubble wrap the pieces before putting them in a shipping box from China. That's a long journey for such delicate pieces. Anyway, I still give it 4 stars because it's such a good price and a very nice piece.

It’s wood. Found it to be a little tacky but that might just be the humidity.It’s pretty, takes up very little space and hangs all my brushes with pegs to spare.Overall great purchase, good value for my money.

Awesome "Brush Holder" altho I'm using it for necklaces. It's good quality and a great value for money.

I didn’t expect much quality for the price but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Sure, even if you have to fix the parts that come off it’s not a big deal. Pieces are clean and clean cut.

Love these things. This one is a bit rough in places, and the wedges used to assemble were a little too big; I fixed it with a knife and some sandpaper by making the holes they fit into a little bigger. You can always add a little glue or putty inside if you get a little overzealous. Still, it works wonderfully.

Easy to put together. It doesn't feel very stable but it hasn't fallen over or fallen apart while using it. An affordable alternative to a custom made brush holder.

Broken with in 5 mins after received, parts were assembled by glue, cheap made, definitely not worth the money……
