I bought this tape to repair some copper plumbing pipes that began to weep from the copper disintegrating. I wrapped the pipe with the tape and it sealed perfectly. It did a great job for what I wanted and expected it to do. While it isn't a permanent solution due to the pipe will still continue to weaken but did a great job for the time being.I also used it to wrap around a broken fishing rod reel handle that cracked and wouldn't hold the reel in place. It worked well and rod is again useable! Very happy with the product!

It worked

This seems to be a pretty high quality silicone tape. I abandoned the old black electrical tape a while ago and only use this now. The old vinyl kind with its adhesive, always left a big sticky mess when you remove it and is very hard to clean off of things. This tape is also a lot more resistant to strong UV from the sun so it's great for outdoor applications. This silicone tape is the cat's pajamas!

Works as described, did not stick to the pipe and it did stick to itself ... Stuck to itself very quickly so take care not to allow it to bunch up on itself as your wind it around the pipe. I was working outdoors in tight quarters and it did pick up a little dirt from the wall. Didn't seem to matter as it made a nice tight seal anyway.

Said it was for hoses. Had a small pin size hole and still leaking

I have a “pin hole” leak under my sink & needed a temporary fix. It’s turned into a long-term fix because it worked perfectly!
