It's made of wood and boar bristles...so I would say yes.

Is this for exfoliating or beard brush???

The brush is for exfoliating and deep cleaning of the skin, not for a beard.... But you can use it on a beard if you really want to and tell us all how it works out.

What are the bristles made out of?

I called Bass Brushes and spoke with customer service. She said this brush is made with boar bristles.

How long will this last with twice daily usage? Should it be cleaned or thrown out?
