Reyna Leoine has good reason to hate the vampyr after what one did to her mother. Her goal in life is to stay as far away from them as possible. When she compulsively accepts a dare to enter their domain—The Gladiator—Reyna questions her sanity. When the leader of the local vampyr clutch claims her as his, Reyna does the sensible thing. She runs. Tariq Bastien recognizes his Heart’s Blood the minute he sees her sitting at the bar. After centuries of being alone, he has no intention of allowing her to escape him. When she manages to do just that, Tariq goes a little crazy. Tariq does what Vampaliens do best—he hunts. The more he discovers about her, the less it makes sense. No human should be able to escape him, and he’d recognize one of his kind. When he finally finds her, will the mystery of her past draw them together or drive them apart? Review: Interesting and excellent book - I really enjoyed the book. Very well written, good plot, good primary and secondary characters. The premise of the story was hot abs sexy. Tariq is a true alpha male who controls his environment and people. He will not be denied. Very happy that Reyna and Tariq got their HEA despite all the obstacles in their path. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book as a good and fast read. Review: Enjoyed - It was something different for me to read. I love the story itself. I hope that her cousin gets a story also

Good read
The plot and history of the characters was good but the suspense of a possible fight from a threat of w rival pack was a huge let down where a twist to the story could have gone a bit deeper.

Alien love
This was most definitely a different kind of love story. And it took a minute to wrap my head around, but it was the differences that made this book good. I think there's definitely room for maybe a small series. Or maybe a follow up book at least. I have questions about some of the characters, and I would love to hear more about what all Reyna can do without limitations and holding herself back.

Truly enjoyed this one!
I truly enjoyed this vision of openly sharing our planet with other alien species. It was refreshing to see emotions such as fear, anger, passion, and love transcend the condition of being human.

Tariq and Reyna (This is the best book!!)
I’ve read a lot of Zena Wynn’s book but this one is the best. Tariq is the lover and poet of all times. Two of my favs and I cried on this first one: “If you feel like your foundation is crumbling, let my love be the rock on which you stand.” The second one, “My heart beats for you.” This book taught life lessons: 1. The races (not the normal White vs Black), the same concept using the vampyr and the pride. 2. Parentage (Isabella and Reyna. A lack of love, affection…which we find out in the end is due to Ragnon, Isabella’s father was going to kill Reyna if she didn’t get rid of her. She gave her to Jordan who was like a father to her…he called her Kitten) 3. It’s not how people view you but how you view yourself 4. It showed marriage/relationship and how with TRUE love…Tariq made it his life’s mission to understand his Heart’s Blood (Reyna) 5. Forgiveness. Reyna had to forgive and understand why her mother HAD to do what she did….and why her father was never there.

Great read!
Ms. Wynn has again gifted us with a wonderful read. Reyna's Vampyr is a story of love and loss. Reyna has grown up isolated and feeling unwanted because of her heritage. She was lead to believe many things about her life that turn out to be untrue. It takes the love of one she thought an enemy for her to Kearney truth and find happiness. I hope to soon get to read Jacey's story.

I enjoyed the quick pace of the book and the author ...
This is my second book by this author. I have mixed feelings about this story. I enjoyed the quick pace of the book and the author kept it moving along nicely. I was uncomfortable about the relationship between Reyna and Jorlan. In the book he is described as a father figure and protector towards Reyna. However, when I read the scenes of foreplay between them and the thoughts he had of being intimate with her, I struggled to see how he could be a true father figure to her. I thought that Tariq was totally into Reyna but I did not really feel the love coming from Reyna towards him. Maybe at towards the end of the book. On the whole a good read.
