This is an excellent sturdy brush. It sure won't break and, in fact, is a little heavy but has to be if sturdy. I found the soft bristles to be soft and the other side a little stiffer but they would not hurt the skin. The only complaint is that it becomes slippery when soap is on the handle. It was not a big concern but I used a washcloth to help get a better grip. The soft bristles are great for washing feet. They slide between toes. I would purchase this again.Update: I have used this many times now and works better then expected. Here is why. This handle is so study that I can put it on the shower floor, stand on the handle to keep it study, and rub my foot over it, the soft bristles go right between my toes. The handle just flexes a little. I weight 270 pounds so it is really sturdy.

Yes it is a nice firm back scrubbing brush but the handle is too long, always bashing into the shower wall and too narrow, a wider handle would facilitate better control overall. Also the dual side is not really needed, the firm side is a little soft but OK and the soft side is too soft really, so nearly right when the ones in Boots are £6 these days but don't last all that long. This one could be better and cheaper with just one side as a brush that is firmer and the handle being shorter and wider, I will be cutting my brush down, but still looking for another similar one.

I love this back brush . It has two sides. One is soft bristles, where the other side is stiffer bristles for scrubbing. It will not get moldy like a wooden handle brush, if you keep it hung in the shower.
