Winsome Wood Leo Wood 4 Tier Storage Shelf with 4 Small Rattan Baskets

(helpful tips included) This unit was packaged well. Instructions and all parts were included. I always make sure all parts are included immediately. Everything lined up perfectly, too. I saw there is a dull side to shelves and a more shiney side which went face up when putting this together. This 61 year old woman with a very bad back and weak hand grip put it together with no problem. I used no power tools and no glue. It is a solid piece. I always read the instructions to get familiar with everything first. Looking at the pictures truly helps. Before putting the second side on, flip the piece so you can approach it from the top. It is best to put shelves and thinner slats with the pegs on them in this position also. When you put the thin slats in that have dowels/pegs in them, you just have to realize screwing in the remaining areas automatically tighten these into place, too. I tapped them only into place with my hand to get them into the proper holes in side panels and that was all I had to do. Screwing the rest of the areas from side panels tightened these into place as well. I had one thin slat that wouldn't stay in the holes, but I swapped it with location of another small slat and it did the trick. None of the pegs were too big for any of the holes. I had no trouble using the hex key/Allen key, which I usually dislike. The difficulty was putting the top of unit on using the hex key, but I was patient and I really can't complain. It went on pretty quickly. The shelving unit stood level on my floor. There were 3 minor scratches which no one can see due to where they are located. I almost didn't buy this for fear I would run into difficulty putting it together. I am so happy I bought this for my laundry room. I bought the black cloth storage bins and they don't show up well in photo but I am quite content. I would buy this item again!

I liked that its solid and not crumbly particle board. The only downfalls were that one of them was cut uneven and that the espresso coating it had on it was really glossy so it kinda looks like its wet. But its solid and I use one as a tall night stand and the other has bins that I use in my closet

I moved into a place with limited space and no linen closet. This fit the bill well. It is solid and it matches the other Winsome Wood products. I knocked off a star because there are small places that were knicked during packaging, and the light wood colour is showing through, and it is on a side where I cannot hide it. I am covering it best I can with wood markers. I only have towels on the shelves in the baskets, but I do not think I would put heavy items on top. I would limit that to the bottom two shelves. Overall, it is a great product for what I needed it to accomplish.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got this and saw how well it was packaged, how great the wood looked and how easy it was go put together. I also got the shorter, wider shelf in the same brand. I am happier than I thought I would be with everything about this shelf. One thing though, is that the baskets are not as high quality as I would have liked. They seem a little brittle and "scratchy," not as natural as the gorgeous wood shelves themselves. I just got the shelves a few days ago, so I can't say for sure, but I fear that the baskets might scratch the wood after repeated moving of the baskets. When I pull them in and out, they feel a little scratchy. I love the shelf though, and I can be purchased by itself. In retrospect, I might have bought the shelf separately and looked for nicer baskets that fit in there instead.

I love this shelf! It fits perfect in any room and it has so many things you can put in the cubes! It wasn’t scratched or anything when I took it out of the box and was pretty easy to assemble! Def a great buy for the price!

Despite being very well packed, it seemed like a sustained some damage before it was actually packed and shipped. I have eight other pieces by this company seven have been great, this is the only one that has not been up to snuff. The scratches however were easily fixed with a colored marker.

A good solid shelving unit made from real wood. The wicker baskets are not the highest quality though. With that being said, I would still recommend this product. It provides good storage in a tight space.

This is a very nice shelf and fits nicely in the small space I needed it for. it is a little tricky getting it together with 1 person. once it is put together it is very sturdy and very classy looking

This is a little bit lower quality than I had hope, but I guess you get what you pay for! It is nice looking, but lacking in overall sturdiness. This is NOT a piece that will last for years. Easy to assemble.
