Very cool looking
Definitely adds to the look of the interior. I stitched under the wrap and followed the existing stitching to match my 2009 Civic Si interior although I havenโt completely tucked the wrap into the trim it already looks great. Getting carbon trim to match the carbon grips I added then after the tuck it will look like a whole new wheel. Definitely recommend this wrap it is difficult to install but with patience you will be satisfied in making this purchase.

2011 Civic Si steering wheel cover
Overall, pretty satisfied with the steering wheel cover. Me and my fiancรฉ put it on together and took us almost 2 days haha. We ran into stitching problems and it not being user friendly with the existing holes when stitching together. We had to create new holes when stitching in certain areas to make it work. I would recommend removing the steering wheel so you have more flexibility to move around when stitching. We kept the steering wheel on and that could have contributed to how tough it was at times to get it tight and firm. Much worth it and would purchase again๐๐ป.

Totally easy and worth the price
I was originally thinking this was a bad idea but when I finished I was very pleased with results, no more ugly crusty steering wheel.

DO NOT BUY
The stitching on this is low quality and completely ripped out and made the kit useless. If I wasnโt a leather worker already and knew how to make my own stitching holes and do an alternative style of stitching I would have been screwed. I definitely DO NOT recommend this kit. Save your money and buy a better quality one.

Installation takes time and patience, but it's worth it!
I ordered this after watching a few YouTube videos to get an idea of the installation difficulty. I figured it was worth a shot. I used the supplied double-sided tape to line everything up as carefully as possible. Before you start stitching, make sure you've lined up the wrap perfectly with the three spokes, then tuck everything in. It will take a bit of force to get the material under the plastic, so get someone with a bit of arm-strength to help if you don't feel comfortable with that. Once everything is tucked, the rest is pretty easy. Look at youtube videos for examples, but essentially you're just going back and forth, skipping one loop every time. I threaded every loop in the "nooks and crannies" of the wheel to make it a bit tighter. One major tip I have in regards to stitching: You can do all the stitches, but don't tie off the end right away. Instead, leave the end unsecured, and start back and the beginning and pull up the thread, sort of similar to tying a shoelace. Keep pulling the extra slack up (I used the plastic tool they provided) and simultaneously use your other hand to pinch the leather together. Again, youtube is your friend here, but hopefully this makes sense. I saw someone mention a chemical smell, and I would say while there is a scent to it, it's actually quite nice. Smells like dyed leather. Almost has a new car smell, like a BMW with leather seats. All in all I'm really happy with how it came out, looks almost like it was installed in the factory.

Very nice feel
Very nice feel. Fits tight with no movement at all. It's not a quick install. Took my steering wheel off and it still took a few hours. But it is worth every penny, so long as doing the stitching doesn't drive you mad.

TAKE YOUR TIME. IT'S WORTH IT.
I tried this product to replace the decaying wrap on my steering wheel. I ripped out the old leather and covered the bare rubber steering wheel with this wrap. Presentation: The plastic envelope it was shipped in came with the wrap, double sided tape, a pair of scissors (essentially forceps with blades at the end), red thread, instructions, and a straight needle. Nice touch on including plenty of thread. Quality: Leather isn't bad. It's not the best because it's thick but it's not too rough but not too soft. If you wanted to, you could get your own premium leather fabric and cut out the shape yourself and install it that way if you want premium leather (I don't recommend it. It's a headache. Ask me how I know.). Speaking of cut outs, this wrap had the proper cut outs to wrap around all of the edges of the steering wheel so every inch is covered. Nice touch! You can easily tuck in the leather under the steering wheel trim. Installation: Easy installation with the included instructions. There are plenty of other videos out there showing similar installations so as other reviews say, watch the videos. Make sure to align the wrap constantly and tighten the stitch to keep it lined up at all times. Take your time like others have said, even if it takes hours. It's definitely worth it and you'll be able to see any issues if it's not aligned properly then you'll have to start over.

Take your time
This kit is a great replacement. To install I recommend taking your time and going slowly. Use tape on the more intricate areas so they aren't as baggy at the spokes like mine ended up being. the stitching may take the longest time and is well worth it if you go slowly. I took about 5 hours to install mine

Hard to beat the price/quality
This take patience and alot of it. It took me about 3-4hours to complete but came out nearly perfect. Use plenty of double-sided tape as it helps keep the wrap in the right place. Don't pull the thread too quick as it can bunch up and screw your progress. You may have to squeeze the wrap where it meets as you pull on the thread to help close the seem. If you take your time, you'll end up with something decent and not wrinkley.
