Bought these holders to go with similar mirror trays bought long ago. Close match, so happy there.Did a couple of tweaks to make these pencils holders a tad more functional.1) Using black craft foam, traced the holder and cut out circles to slip into the bottoms. Cushy protection for pens and pencils and less “clink-clank” when dropping them into the holder.2) The holders are just painted metal on the bottom and slide easily. Stuck four clear bumpers to the bottom of each holder. Now the holders stay put! No more sliding off the desk.You need bumpers tall enough to rise above the rolled, metal rim around the bottom. Without a cup, my pens just sat there with no particular direction in life. With these cups, my pens now stand up neatly in the cups.You can probably put other things in the cups too, but I haven't had the courage to branch out yet. For now, just pens. But I bet another more creative person than I could come up with another idea for things to put in the cups.

It does what it's supposed to, modifies well, and looks good doing it. I unfortunately have to agree with the person who complained about the pattern not being matched up with the circumference of the base. When I read their review, I thought "My God, people just have to complain about something," but when they came in and got a look at it, I understood. It's off by maybe 1/4", not a lot, so it's just oddly frustrating that no one bothered to measure the repeat of the pattern and make a base accordingly.

I was curious about how firm the material was, so I put pressure in trying to bend it and it was very easy to bend. So, don't do that. Otherwise, I love it very much and it looks very nice on my desk

I wasn’t sure how these would look irl but I was really happy that these were prettier than the pictures make them seem. The value is great you get two large pen holders for the price of what you would usually pay for one. I would absolutely recommend buying these

Used six of these (total) to organize pens and art supplies on my desk. They look absolutely lovely together, but a couple have a fairly obvious seam. Turned around it's no big deal, but still worth taking off a star for me.For added organization I put it on a rotating stand so I can spin it to the cup I need. Works like a charm and looks great that way!

These are a fun color (just like I see on my computer screen). One holds fine tip markers and the other holds a large collection of different colored pens and I'm not worried about either tipping over, even if I pull out a pen clumsily. They look nice on my pink craft shelf and help me keep my pens accessible!

Got these to hand on command hooks for my dry erase markers. They work great! Sturdy and gorgeous!
