I was so inspired by one exercise I had to immediately stop reading and get writing on something that I was struggling with at the time having realised the solution to my problem. This is a practical book for those looking to find their own creative paths. This book offers support in times of doubt, and encouragement in times where you wonder why you are bothering at all. It doesn't use confusing language, or condescending language, or put a creative life on a pedestal but offers up a way to make it about your life. An finally i think the exercises are very practical. While they do have prompts, they also leave room for you to apply this to your own Work In Progress.
