Works great!
I gave it four stars instead of the five stars it would get if it had come with directions.I finally figured it out after studying it a bit, and it centered the front sight on my new Springfield Hellcat that must have been manufactured on a Monday (when nobody wanted to be there) or Friday (when everyone just wanted to get out of there) because the sight was so far left of center that the gun was missing the bullseye about 2 1/2 to 3 inches left. This tool worked perfectly and I'm hitting bullseye (or small group there around) every time now at 25 feet with a 3 inch barrel.Once you remove the slide from your semi-automatic hand gun, and take the recoil spring and barrel out of it, this Sight pusher will work on any size slide from Micro Compact to Full Size, and in between, for both front and rear "Dove Tail" sights. It's made very strong and very heavy, so I suggest you wrap your slide in a folded up paper towel like I did to protect your slide from possible scratches or scuffs...when I was done adjusting my sight and removed the slide from the Sight Vise, I had no damage of any kind. If you DON'T protect your slide with some kind of material before putting it in this thing, I can picture some sort of damage (after all it IS a Vise).I love it. Now if I have any more issues with any of my guns, or just want to upgrade to different dove tail style sights I have the proper tool to make the job easy.P.S.- I don't do hammer and awl (punch) on my guns; I'd rather push the sights out with the turn of an Allen (Hex) Wrench with this thing.

Worked for my SigP365
First, it did the job perfectly for my Sig p365. I asked on here first, got several replies, and made the purchase.I would have given 5 stars except that it didnt come with instructions, and one of the screws didn't thread in and out like you'd expect. It felt like the machining was bad. I was able to tighten it, but it was tough. After a few times in and out, it loosened up a bit, but still isn't as good as the other screw in that same stabilizer plate. I was able to YouTube someone instructing how to use it. Honestly as soon as the video showed him placing the upper slide into it, it all made sense and you can put 2 and 2 together. It WILL scratch your firearm if you let it. Not that there is something wrong with it. But its metal on metal. So putting it in and out, adjusting, etc. you can very easily scratch. I suppose a thin cloth might do the trick. Take it slow. Even know my metal dovetail rear sights were super tough (couldn't do it by hand, which is why I bought this), I went past where I wanted it and had to do it again the other direction. I suggest baby steps..remove, check, do it more if needed. It's easier than having to reverse it since the block has 1 flat side.I can't speak for other firearms, but my rear night sight is arched, and it still was able to slide right up flush, and move it with no problems. Very pleased / good value
So, I am not a gun smith but I have no issues working on my own firearms.I wanted to replace the sights on my CZ 75-PO1 as most people do. I did not want to send it out and I did not want to break the bank to do the upgrade by buying an expensive sight pusher that I will only use (for myself) a handful of times. I watched a ton of videos (which are usually not great) to learn what was out there and what would meet my needs. I chose this template which is the best word to use for a model that seems to come from several sources at several price points but be exactly the same. I paid $40.00 from Amazon after searching numerous websites and also looking for any available coupon codes. If you can find any of those, please let me know how you did it. I was given 6 - 8 weeks for delivery but I believe that was only because it was bundled with the sights I was upgrading to which were back ordered. I was informed when shipping dates were updated, when it shipped and received it at the beginning of the delivery window I was given.Tool is made in china which I am not in general a fan of but.... For what is is and what it needs to do, it is well machined and well built. I can see this lasting beyond me and being passed along with my firearms to my boys. As noted in most of the reviews and videos I researched, the tool does not come with instructions. It is a simple tool, so I agree with most that if you cannot figure it out with the resources that are "out there" you may not want to do this yourself. Outside of that warning, it worked flawlessly. It will drift both front and back sights as needed (the CZ 75 platform does not for front sights). I cannot speak to how many models it may or may not fit. I installed my sights about an hour ago with no issues from the tool. I did need to lightly sand the sights themselves but that would be case by case and is no reflection on the function of the sight pusher.I am very happy with the quality, function and price for this piece of equipment and recommend it to anyone interested in doing their own firearm sight maintenance.

Just use some kind of protection on your slide and sights to be sure. Electrical tape etc.
All in all it got the job done on my Glock 43X. Since the slide is metal I protected my sight and slide with some stick on foam tape about 1/8th inch thick. Just be careful and make sure you adjust it so the sliding metal block clears your slide. I kept unscrewing the bolts on the bottom and lowering the slide away from the adjusting block until I was sure there was clearance between the two. Once again I got it done, but I do wonder why they designed it with the 2 bolts sticking out the bottom (photo one, blue arrows). That's the bottom so the vise rests on those bolts instead of the flat bottom of the vise itself. It turned out not to be much of a problem. For the money you can't go wrong, just be careful. If I was to do it over again I think I would spend a little more and get one with a handle instead of having to keep removing/replacing the Allen wrench. The handle would have to be large because you need the leverage--it's a tight fit. Also I think it would be helpful if the vise was more easily able to be mounted to a bench...
