I needed some thermal paste for a HP 800 G2 mini I bought as I upgraded the CPU from an i3-5100T to a i5-5500T. I knew I had some paste when I ordered the CPU but typically I could not find it when it arrived, a quick search on amazon and decided this one looked good for the money.The paste came with 2x rather odd finger condoms? I know I was as shocked as you are reading this, I didn't use them that's just weird, a glove might have been more normal but I didn't expect extra so OK. It also came a alcohol wipe and a nice little spreader for scraping off the old paste and applying the new stuff, I've read and watched so many videos on how to apply paste over the years I'm still to be convinced it makes a big difference tbh. Long as there is a good bond between the CPU and heatsink/fan then its good enough for me. I decided to use the spreader on this one rather than the pea method (don't judge me) and it looked good.Attached the heat sink reassemble the PC and fired it up, 1 month later its been running 24/7 and has been rock solid temps average 48c for this type of mini pc I'm happy with that.TLDR: It's grey paste, apply it on CPU with spreader and it will be good.
