I'm one of these people that has a friggin' boy scout tool set on my keychain. I have a flashlight, mini zippo, mini pocket knife, pry bar, etc on my keychain, and also always keep a collapsible/small pen. This one isn't collapsible, but it's still large enough to hold despite it's small size, lacks a cap, using twist top cover instead (I hate the ones with a cap, because it's easy to lose the pen if it comes off pulling your keys in and out of your pocket). It writes smooth, in my experience. The fact it resembles a bullet might be off-putting for some, but I don't mind it, personally.

So compact and so nicely made. They've literally though of everything... the pen retracts with a simple twist, the end of the refills are covered with a tiny plastic cap to prevent the ink from drying out. Now I can go to my mail box armed with everything I need to dispatch my mail. Pen will be used to write "Refused. Return to Sender" on all junk mail, take that spammers. The brass color nicely matches the nifty little letter/package opener and mini keychain I also got from Amazon, as well as my West Elm trinket tray.

Link that came with pen broke off in the first couple days. Thought I lost the pen. But it reappeared somewhere and attached it directly to one of the rings on the keychain and it has stayed there for several weeks. I’m happy now.

It was hanging on my key-chain and the bottom part came off and got lost.

Don’t forget to remove it from your key chain before you go to the airport. The X-ray will flag it. :)

Update: lowered my review to one star because the tip once again fell off with no use or interaction on my part. It has just been on my key chain and I guess over time (but not that much time as I only started buying these this year) it got loose and fell off. Really like the design but I am not buying this a fourth time.Big fan of this keychain pen. It's the perfect size to be on a minimal keychain while still being usable. Unfortunately, I'm on my third purchase, a different parts of this pen have failed, causing me to have to replace it.My first one unscrewed at the tip without me realizing, and the tip and ink cartridge were lost. My second one had the link that connected it to the keychain open, just enough for the pen to slip through and be lost.So I've unfortunately had to buy this three times, which should go to show how much I like the design and functionality of this pen. I just wish it was constructed a little better and I didn't need to keep replacing it.

This little pen is amazing. I put mine on a pull clip and clicked it on my pocketbook. Best little pen ever. :)

I loved this pen until it was taken from me by airport security because they said it looks like a bullet.I could not believe the stupidity of it. They could see it was a pen, not a bullet.
