LEGO Star Wars Y-Wing Microfighter 75162 Building Kit, for 72 months to 144 months

I use these to bribe my boys out of consuming heaps and heaps of Halloween candy. They're small enough not to break the bank but take long enough to build that they're a fun addition to Halloween. They get to keep as many candies as they are years old that year and then the rest is donated to the troops through Operation Gratitude. Then they get a LEGO treat. Win-win!

I totally love these for my twin grandsons age 7. I was helping them put one together; there are easy to follow step by step instructions with photos / diagrams. I was skipping a step (shortcut) and my grandson told me to follow the directions! LOL. I have bought all the new ones that come out for them, and they keep on building. It teaches them fine motor skills, following directions, as well as patience and they really exude with pride when it is done. As a pediatrician I have never endorsed a product or toy, but I might break 40 years of tradition with this one.

This was a gift for a friends son but he loved it and all the pieces were there! Box was unopened and new.

I got this for my grandson, age 8 for his birthday. He loves it! It is not his first Lego toy.

The price was okay and it is a nice addition to my collection.

I don't know what it is about these new sets; I never really cared for the Y-Wing specifically, but the recent bigger set and this one just look so good. I recently built a much older A-Wing set so it was quite evident how much more intricate and creative these newer sets are with the stock pieces. Really fun quick build, no surprises, really cute goofy look. I kinda wish it had some kind of bombing action like the larger set but that's just me being greedy, I really love this set.

Simple build for a Star Wars fan. Microfighters are pricey for the no longer sold by Lego models.

The design/size is perfect for my 3yr son who is obsessed with all the Star Wars Rebel star-fighters. It fits perfectly in his hand as he flies it around the house. The Micro series is great for little ones.

My grandson loves his Y-wing microfighter, I did put it together before he opened it and glued it all together with gorilla glue. This grandma is finally learning how to outsmart the boy! It saves my frustration when he takes it apart and then asks if I can fix it, after he has mixed it in with the huge box of lego pieces he has.
