Akkermansia muciniphila - 25 Billion CFU per Capsule - 30 Capsules

Sad to see this product is still unavailable. I ordered 2 bottles a few months ago and I'm almost out. I'm not diabetic or pre-diabetic; but I have been monitoring glucose levels for general health reasons. I've been using a CGM via the "Levels" beta test app. There's a significant reduction in glucose spikes when using akkermansia. Even a high carb binge meal seems to cap at about 138 when using akkermansia, and then returns to a baseline around 85 within 30 minutes of the peak. The same type meal would go to 160 previously, and then fluctuate fairly dramatically for 3 or 4 hours. Really hope they begin to produce this again !Update 5/17/22: Great to see this in stock again. I ordered an additional 2 bottles directly from their website, which showed availability slightly ahead of Amazon. (About the same price) I know Pendulum claims to have propietary rights to this substance, but they were also out of stock at the same time and have just recently started shipping again. Seems more likely they're both reselling the same thing. I can definitely attest to the improvement in glucose stability using this product, and it's about 40% cheaper than the slickly marketed pendulum glucose control.

It somehow gave me strong inflammation. I only took one capsule and gave it to my family members. I really wanted it to do wonderful things to my gut microbiome but didn't work out. :(

This is not Akkermansia. I had this product tested to determine whether the pill contained Akkermansia. It does not, it is lactobacillus a standard probiotic strain. Furthermore, the seller's answers to some of the questions are just patently wrong, e.g., this product is not enteric coated and therefore will not survive gut transit - the bacteria won't survive this transit, they are obligate anaerobes.

This is a fake supplement company. The only real Akkermansia supplement company out there is pendulum. Because akkermansia is an anaerobic bacteria and it's super difficult to make and transport. Pendulum is the first company ever accomplish this growing technique by building its machinery from the ground up. If this is real, they would have posted 3rd party testing certification and credentials.
