tried for the first time
always used Ball lids, these were a great deal so I tried the Kerr, made marmalade yesterday and had no issues, all the jars sealed, just as good as Ball

Buy only genuine Ball or Kerr lids
These Kerr lids worked well. Chinese made imitation lids had a 30-50% failure rate. Kerr and Ball never fail

Only lids I'll buy
These lids are the most reliable for canning. I like that you can get them shipped quick by Amazon, but they are a bit more expensive than they should be. I guess you pay for convenience...
