Changing all my incandescent to led lights and these work great.

I bought these to use in the indicator lamps of my motorcycle. It came from the factory with incandescent bulbs that are difficult to see in bright daylight, so it was hard to tell if the bike was in neutral, etc. These are quite a bit brighter than the factory bulbs. They also run cooler and draw less current. These lamps are polarity sensitive, which means that electricity will only flow through it in one direction. If the lamp does not light up after installation, remove it, rotate it 180 degrees, and reinstall. This should fix it. For most uses this will not be a problem. HOWEVER-- for the turn signal indicator on my motorcycle, the polarity reverses depending on which direction you're indicating (left or right). This meant that the indicator would only light up when indicating one direction. If you're using this on the turn signal indicator of a Japanese motorcycle, there is a chance that you will face the same problem. The easiest way to fix it is to find LEDs that are not polarity-sensitive. I expect that for 90% of applications they will be fine. However if you're using them in a circuit where the polarity reverses, you'll need LEDs that are not polarity sensitive.
