Lebanese Cuisine

This cookbook has the most authentic recipes that I have found. My husband is Lebanese, and the recipes I received from his family are often exactly like the ones in this book....and all are delicious! The recipes have excellent instructions, with pictures for some of the more difficult procedures. I've had my original cookbook for over 20 years, and I loved it so much that I purchased it for my daughter and nieces, too! If you're looking for authentic Middle Eastern foods, this cookbook is the one for you!

Got this book from one of my aunts almost 30 years ago. She knew the author .. who was a "cousin" from Portland, OR.My aunt said it was the best Lebanese cookbook she had seen. After years of using it, she was 100% correct.On whim, just checked out Amazon and there it was!! So got one for my oldest son who is, also, very interested in Lebanese cooking.

what i love about this book is that it comes out the way the dish suppose to look and taste. I have eaten these dishes for years but never cooked them myself. It is like a real middle eastern cook standing right next to you telling you what to do and how to do it. This for sure is my favorite middle-eastern cookbook.

This was written by my wife's aunt....and I tell you...it's like going home...real deal here! easy to understand, great recipes!!one to pass down....

My book has a spirol binding, which makes it easy to open and leave open and it has colored pictures to show what some of the foods should look like, this book didntnhave that which is a shame , I would have given 5 star if they just kept those features
