So it did invert on me, but it was in hurricane-force winds [like, the airport was shut down] and it even resisted those for a while. My husband got it for keeping in his work bag because it's super compact and convenient and it held up great until I borrowed it for a trip -- because it's super compact and convenient and they were predicting heavy rain. I replaced it with exactly the same one... because it's super compact and convenient and only inverts in hurricane-force winds.

The metal ribs inside that form the structure seem fragile and not up to winds that are more than a breeze. So, it is not for the heaviest rain and wind storms. Folds up to a compact size. Lightweight. Has small, not too conspicuous bits of reflective fabric on the edges, which is what I wanted (I. e. didn't want the maximum quantity of reflective material).

I am in my 'orange period' so I was excited to order an orange umbrella; however, when it arrived I found it to be cheaply made and with a difficult manual operation that would be impossible to use in the rain. If I hadn't removed the tags I would return it but instead it just sits in my umbrella stand awaiting someone who takes it by mistake.

It is smaller than expected.

A little flimsy but for the price it's a very good deal.

Very compact, light, easy to carry. A must have, when traveling. I bought 5 of them for my family trip. Every family member has one. They are inexpensive, so if lost who cares?!

I love the idea of the umbrella incorporating the reflective material. That's so smart! The handle and overall design is nicely done. This thing is very compact. However, after about 2-3 light uses, one light gust of wind turned the umbrella inside out and broke a piece on one of the metal rods. I guess it's still usable but it looks pretty bad so I had to throw it out.
