Okay so I mostly just bought this thing because it looked cute and I was already buying a bunch of OTOTO stuff, but im so glad I did because I love this thing??? It's so great to have on my counter and put a hot plate or pot on it, and since its all rubbery it doesn't slide around the way a potholder might.

Bought this cause it made me smile. And it brings me joy every time I see it. Works well as trivet with just enough thickness to protect the counter, as needed. And when setting anything on it, the car squishes down just like in the images. The best feature is the gripping "toe beans" that help the trivet stand upright when not in use. Just a cute purchase, but it works well and looks cute when no being used.

Cute and fun. And protects my counters when it counts. Very easy to clean. Ideal size even for 12 inch fry pans or soup pots. Retains shape.

Bought as a gift. Not only did I love it (almost didn’t gift it hahaha) but it is adorable and works as the best trivet to protect your table or counter from a hot container. I've had my Scaredy Cat for a bit now. I have used it almost every day. It really does protect even my marble table top. I've used it to put hot pots of soup right on my desk so I could let it cool and save a bowl. I will say it seems to pull heat out of the pot/pan, and for me that is perfect. It doesn't cool the food, but I do think it will stop the cooking at the bottom, which I actually like. It's cute. It's functional. It's keeping it's shape well enough but let's be real, the shape isn't what does the job. The thickness and material does. The shape is just cute.

I got this as a stocking stuffer for my dad in 2022 and it still works great! It always bends back into the arched shape even after years of repeated use. Protects the counters, retains its shape, and makes my dad laugh. What more could you ask for? :)
