Complete garbage, do not buy! The screen ribbon came unplugged, when I finally got it back in there turned the ignition on, nothing happened. Looked back at it and the ribbon was melted. From the factory they put white silicone on the connector so it stays in place, which would not be needed if the connector worked. When working, CarPlay would freeze, would have to back out, go to home, then relaunch. Not a huge deal but annoying after awhile. TBH the entire setup looks thrown together like they swept up all the left over parts in the factory and set a 9 yo down and said make me a stereo. I went with ATOTO because of all the raving reviews but I’m not impressed. I bought a way cheaper floating screen same size and build quality and function was rock solid. Stay away from this over priced garbage

Super easy to install, the screen is bright and very clear. The features and customization options are endless. Im still finding out new features 6 months later! The value for money cant be beat. Will definitely be using this company again in the future. Can’t recommend enough.

Bluetooth sound is awful I bought another mic to see if that would help and it did not After 2 months it freezes all the time I would not purchase this item

What worked and what glitched.The large screen was the selling point for me.But I returned this item because the audio, while on the phone, would randomly become garbled. I had to reestablish the connection to restore quality audio. It sounded like micky-mouse. I could never find out what caused this.

Stopped working after three months. Do not recommend purchasing. Glitched for a few days and then completely stopped working. Was great until then. If you want to spend your money for only a few months, go right ahead otherwise I recommend staying away.

The radio was fine until it stopped working last we didn’t even have it a full year.

I'm usually a tech guy, I work in IT and I love gadgets, but I wanted a simple head unit that allowed me to add Android Auto and a backup camera to an older truck, and I didn't want to pay a lot for it. The F7 delivers. It runs a Linux based OS, but you never see the OS itself, so it is far less complex than a full Android head unit. It's simple, easy to use, and it just works. It's not audiophile quality, but you probably aren't looking at $200 head units if you are building a system for stellar sound. There are a few things I would change to make it even better. I would like more background visual options (edit: I now see that I have options to import backgrounds, either missed that before, or it's new with the update), and alternate or custom icons, as well as the ability to control what icons are on the home screen. But for the price, I can accept the limitations of vague icons. I also have to commend ATOTO support. I bought this unit and it was well out of warranty before I started driving the truck project it was in. When I finally used it, it would have to be reset before it would power on every time it sat for a few hours. I contacted ATOTO support, and they provided a firmware update that resolved the issue within a day.
