2600pcs Metal Film Fixed Resistor Kit 130 Values 1 Ohm-3M Ohm 1/4W ±1% Tolerance Resistor Assortment Kit RoHS Compliant with Box for DIY Projects

I specifically chose these because they said they had thick legs, 0.45mm. They do not. The legs are 0.32mm to 0.34mm just like the other thin leg resistors I already bought. They fall out of the solderless breadboard that I am using. I have a limited selection of carbon resistors that have 0.45mm legs and they work fine.I am returning these, and will try to find another one with thick legs.I mean they even pointed out the thick legs as a selling point!Sigh.7/20/2022 They indicated that you need to buy the 1/2 watt resistors to get the thicker legs. They updated the description for the 1/4 watt resistors to indicate that they have 0.3mm legs, but the comparison image still says 0.45mm. I improved my rating to three stars since the description is closer to being right.

This is a nice assortment of resistors. The values are all from the E24 % table. The resistors are marked as 1% but many are 2-3% from their rated value. Since I am buying them to use as 5% resistors this is tolerable, but I would not buy from this vendor again.I suspect these are all out-of-tolerance production line defects since many do not meet their marked 1% tolerance markings.The body of the resistors are blue. The colors for the codes are not bright colors and sometimes difficult to read against the blue body. However the values are marked correctly even if they are our-of-tolerance.

Before ordering this, look at the picture shown of the resistors in the plastic box. Notice in the marketing picture, the resistors are haphazardly thrown in the box. Given this haphazard appearance, I should have expected that the resistors are not in any sort of order. Upon opeining the box, what I found is what is shown. Two stacks of approx. 3" thick piles of resistors out of order with all sorts of values. As you dig through the values, you will find mOhm, kOhm, ~1Ohm, resistors. If I had 15 minutes per resistor value to try to find the needed one, it would be a wonderful waste of time to spend all day trying to find 10k and 330 Ohm. I literally gave up before finding a single useful value, and decided to return this. It costs me more in time to find a single useful value than the box costs. I would be money ahead to throw it away, and will try to remember to return it. Not for EE's. Great if you like mystery hunts.

This is a huge variety of resistors. Glad I got these than some other brands that had really thin wires. So far every one I have tested has been within the 1%. Many exact. My only real complaint is they are just thrown in the case in a random order. I had to sort them myself to make easier to find. And some are hard to read the printed value. Had to test with meter and hand write on some. Still for the price, not a bad deal.

These are quality 1/4w 1% resistors and belong in every project builders toolbox.Would/will buy again.
