Great carbon water filters
These carbon water filters work great, and at a nice price. Highly recommend.

not plastic foam like other 1 micron filters
Been using them for years and this model takes a lot of sediment before slowing down the whole house water pressure. I have a well and this is my only water inlet for all water including the outside hose, it is amazing it lasts for many months before needing a change.

Jury is still out on filter life span. Otherwise, it is a nice filter after working the air out.
Can't mention how long the filter will last, compared to other filters. It is a bit longer than the other brand I have been using. The filter housing does not screw in all of the way but enough to let the oring seal. I keep inspecting it for leaks, so I guess I wish it was about 16th of an inch shorter. The cartridge seals are nice and tight on the filter housing but I think the material used is harder than the other brand I was using. I have two different filter housings and the fit is the same on both.

The water tastes much better!
The water in my area taste bad so I installed a filter system and used some unknown brand filter.The result was some weird taste - even after flushing and washing the filter.. so what do you do in such cases you ask? that's right! Amazon to the rescue!I found this filter with great reviews and high scores and ordered it hoping for the best.I was not disappointed and after installation, the water tastes great, better than bottle water and for such a great price.I wholeheartedly recommend this filter.

Precaucion: No incluye el empaque.
Siempre que he comprado este tipo de repuestos para filtro, incluyen un empaque nuevo, habituelmente uno de color azul. Este no lo trae y tuve que poner nuevamente el anterior.
