Solid design and length
I use pointers often for my work and the length and sturdiness of this product makes this pointer a must-have for jobs that require frequent presentations. I also like how the product came with an extra felt tip.

Very thick and sturdy
Very sturdy! We use it for homeschooling my 4 and 2 year old. They use it to point at the board, and it is tough enough to take the abuse. I was picturing something thin like a pencil, but this is far more durable. It is also incredibly long. Love it!

Love my new telescoping pointer!
Received the telescoping teachers pointer within 3-days of submission. The pointer was used in a lecture hall with a screen that sits 5 feet from the floor. The screen is 15 feet wide and 10 feet tall. The pointer worked very well. It also comes with an extra pointer tip and wrist loop. I like the wrist loop so as to not lay the pointer down and forget it in the lecture room. I am very happy with the product as well as receiving the product quickly.

Larger than pen size
I was expecting an ink pen-sized pointer but this one is quite a bit larger. It’s too big to fit in a pocket, but it’s still a nice pointer, as long as you realize what you’re getting.

Use to reach car front temperature controls
I’m not a teacher, but we bought this for the back seat to reach the temperature controls (and radio sometimes) in the front of the car. Probably wouldn’t work for that intention with kids but only adults are allowed to use “the stick” in our car. Works well for that purpose, both turning a volume knob, pressing buttons, and flipping levers.

The best thing about this pointer is its length
The best thing about this pointer is its length. It is longer than most of this ilk. However, it is also bulkier and less polished. It feels clunkier and the tip, while replaceable, is also removable. That is, it is all too easy to pull off when extending the pointer. You have to carefully grab onto a segment below the final one that holds the soft tip in order to be sure not to pull it out. Thankfully, it comes with a spare tip, but as easy as it is to remove, I fear it won't be long until this thing ends up tipless. (Plus, where are you going to store the spare tip so it doesn't get lost, yet is easily associated with the pointer.) Why is the tip removable in the first place?I'll probably end up leaving it extended, placed near our screen and see how long it lasts like that. I bought another brand's smaller pointer (~10" less extension) for a bit less cost that is sleeker, more comfortable, and has a tip that stays attached. I suspect those advantages will outweigh the loss of length.

Good deal for the price - functional
This is a durable pointer. A bit thicker and heavier than I expected. Got it as a back up incase my laser pointer fails while doing presentations. Not ideal but a good resource in an emergency. It does extend a good distance and is thick enough to be seen by those watching.

Sturdy!
I love this pointer. It's very sturdy and well-made except for the white tip that keeps coming out when I pull the end to extend the pointer. I love the 48-inch length. As a college professor showing PowerPoint, I much prefer this to a laser pointer.
