The place mats are attractive and easy to clean.

I use placemats as a decorative piece of my kitchen or dining room. Traditionally however, they are meant to be eaten on in order to protect the table underneath. I always remove them as I don’t want them getting dirty and have to clean them every day or several times a day.Having repainted my kitchen I needed to update my placemats. Rather than the typical linen style I usually buy, I purchased these. I LOVE THEM!!! Not only do they look great (not at all cheap or tacky, actually the opposite, they appear very high end) but we can eat on them!!! A simple Clorox wipe does the trick at the end of the meal and they are good to go!When first arrived they had a crease down the center from being folded during shipping. I just put my iron on the lowest setting, and placed. A tea towel over the top of the placemat and ironed it. Now they lay perfectly flat.3 mats fit perfectly on my island. The color is exactly as pictured . They are very well made and stand up to heat and will last a long time.10/10 recommend!

Do your kids tend to spill milk every time they eat cereal, or somehow manage to get spaghetti sauce to land somewhere besides their mouth and plate? Maybe it's just my kids, but they tend to have a lot food/drink that makes it onto the placemat instead of their plate, and I don't always have the energy to harp on them to wipe off their placemat immediately after every meal. If you do manage to clean your placemat before the food/drink has time to dry, then yes, it is very easy to clean... but if you're like me and sometimes wait a day or two before wiping it off, it will seep into these mats and dry up, taking a bit of warm water and scrubbing to get it off. That being said, these mats are sooo much nicer looking than our old placemats that we threw in the washing machine all the time, so I do love them. I just wish they didn't have tiny woven holes all throughout them that makes them harder to clean.

We use these everyday. This is my 3rd set. I love them as they are very versatile, easy to wash with a dish cloth, soap and water.

The placemats go well with any decor. They are a little thinner than some others I have, however I am very happy with my purchase.

For many years I have had a 'best' very large table cloth with beautiful embroidery on each corner and through the center- I had never been able to find mats which suited this cloth and then I found these! A good plain placemat size and the exact colour of the embroidery. It’s almost as if they had been made with my table in mind. As yet unused so I can only hope that they are heatproof but they look easy to care for and have a very good plain style to them, fingers crossed they are as good in use as they are in colour match. I might even buy Blue ones too!
