Good starter pack
Grandson has been collecting a while and said there were 3 cards that he didn't already have. So, might be a good starter pack but not if you already have a collection.

Maybe not the best for collectors-- seems to be for deck building
So when I saw Pokemon cards on here, my inner-child shrieked. I've been collecting Pokemon cards on and off since I was in grade school (which was over 20 years ago-- yike), and I have trouble saying no to new cards. I have a thicc card album that probably weighs two pounds in which I have packed my collection, which I've been adding to slowly over the years as friends and family who tired of their collections handed me theirs. For the price, 200 cards is not a bad deal, and they tell you straight up what you get: 3 GX, 3 holograms, 4 rare, 100 energy, and 100 commons.I stopped collecting seriously after the first 251, so all of the commons were new to me. If you're a more ardent collector, you'll probably have these. There were dupes, too. I got like three Ghastlys and two Clefairys. Most of them weren't dupes, though, and if you're using these to build a deck, that probably won't matter as much. The 100 energy cards makes me think these are for players, since those are what fuel the attacks. All of the basic Pokemon elements are represented here, including dark, steel, and fairy. I remember when dark and steel energy cards were pretty rare, so I have to admit, I felt a bit giddy seeing so many of them in here. I know they're not rare in modern packs, but BACK IN MY DAY.Not sure what else to say about the cards, really. They came nicely packed in a box. Some of the cards looked like they might have been very mildly warped (they had a bit of a u-shaped bend to them), but there were no wrinkled or creased ones and it's possible I did that myself so idk. I liked that I got some of the Galarian set, (which I like to call Bizarro Pokemon because MR. MIME? A WATER TYPE? EXCUSE), and a couple new dark, fire, and electric types that were new to me and looked cool. Would probably be better for kids or deck-building than collectors but still, would make a nice gift and they're totes transparent about what you get.

USED?
I may have fundamentally misunderstood the nature of this product, but everything about this product screams “used”. And as I look back at the images, I specifically see a sticker that says “new”.Reasons I think this box of Pokemon cards is used:- It was sealed with a thin piece of silver tape. Over that silver tape was a narrow piece of nearly-clear tape.- The cards were not shrinkwrapped.- The cards in the massive deck were not all facing the same way as is normal with a new product. There would be 20 cards facing one way, 10 facing the other, 30 cards facing the original way, and so on.The only possibly excuse for packaging used Pokemon cards in this manner would be if they don't make them anymore, in which case don't label them “new”!The cards themselves were in good condition. I hesitate to say “like new”. For one thing, the texture on some cards was different from the texture on others. You know how playing cards are slippery until they've gotten some use? Like that.I had planned to give them to my Pokemon-obsessed OCD kid for Easter. Instead, I showed them to her right away and told her of my impressions. Without hesitation, she said, “Donate.” Not handling use Pokemon cards which may have gluten or who knows what else on them.
