This is an excellent grooming tool. Every feature meets and exceeds my expectations. I recommend this for anyone who has a short haired dog.

Easy to use and don't harm the skin or pull the hair on my dogs. Love that the brush comes apart to easily clean and wash. It removes all dead hair from my dogs and doesn't discomfort my dogs when brushing them. The price for it is good for the quality of the brush.

This brush is amazing. I've been using a wide bristle hair brush to groom my cats before this brush but still had plenty of fur everywhere but on the cats. One of my cats has a thick coat that neither he nor I could groom the clumps out of. This brush pulled the loose fur up and out of his coat and filled up after 3-4 strokes. The push button retracts the tines, clearing the fur with ease. It also pulls small 2-4mm burrs from the coat of the outdoor cat. With regular use of this brush, the vacuum cleaner pulls up less fur throughout the house and the cats look better and have fewer hairball issues.The tines are soft metal and bend outward at the trailing edge of the brush. Long-term, bent tines may require adjustment using needle-nosed pliers or get snipped off with wire cutters. For cats, I've found that if you start with the back edge of the brush (closest to your hand) and roll it toward the front as you pull, the tines move down into and through the fur without irritating your feline friend's skin. Don't force it; the brush will move to the correct position with gentle pressure.

This brush is good for long hair dogs. I used on my short hair dog as well. It does a great job. I recommend this brush for pets.

I’ve never had one of these rake brushes before and I am BLOWN away how much hair is coming off my German Shepard and long haired cat! I have two trash bins full of hair after using this brush and I brush both of them regularly…so I have missing out with this. It’s so satisfying and works amazing!

I have another cat brush that does good collecting shedding fur, but this one is excellent! Highly recommend!

UPDATE:While this does prevent a bit crazy mess, I’ve found that a silicone brush works way better for getting a lot more hair out and my cats like a silicone brush more, so they let me brush them for a lot longer. My cats don’t really like this brush and it doesn’t get enough hair off of them. It might be because of the way it’s shaped. This would probably work better for a dog that had a bigger body surface area.Old review:The pros: this does brush my cats’ fur, no problem. They are short haired cats, but their fur is “medium length” I suppose. It does make indoor brushing easy, as all the fur stays contained on the brush and doesn’t go flying everywhere.The cons: you have to hold down a button as you brush. Releasing the button retracts the bristles and leaves all the hair behind. It’s not TOO big of a pain, but it would be much easier to hold the button to retract instead, as I’m already brushing squirmy kitties.

The handle is awkward as it is very small compared to the blade part. The part that clips the blade on is very thin and could be a little thicker to make it more durable. It works ok on my short haired bloodhound but I don’t anticipate it lasting very long

Je suis surprise de la qualité de ce produit. Je croyais que le métal au bout de la brosse ferait mal à ma chienne mais au contraire, elle adore se faire brosser avec. Cette brosse retire très bien les poils morts. Très comparable à un produit similaire au trop chèr coût de 55$ que je voulais acheter. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

I'm a dog groomer and I swear by this thing! So much hair comes out, it's amazing!! Highly recommended for any doubled coated/heavy shedding breeds like huskies, shephards, ect.

i never realized how much extra hair my car had this pulled gently but full of hair, it works a little too well so use it very gently on skin .
