Never imagined...
...my guitar could sound *this good. I have a super-expensive luthier guitar, but never heard it do this, never heard strings do this before, and I've tried hundreds of strings from all different brands for decades. Here just after putting them on, so I'll be back to check durability. But for sound alone, these are... astounding. More neutral/woody than D'ad. XP & Elixirs, but nice and grippy like I need despite being treated (Martin Lifespan also good for that). Great bass. Overtones for days, ghost notes almost vocal even, like strumming a church choir.NOTE: Their sound sometimes emphasizes overtones almost as much as the fundamental, so might be hard to amp live. But in a room, on a couch, at least on this guitar, these sound like a damn pipe organ. Unbelievable. For an affordable guitar, try these on a Yamaha FG830, or something with a cedar top, and that sucker will roar. Paradigms- eesh!! :O

Best acoustic strings hand-down.
I bought a new Taylor 214e and had it professionally set up, my guitar guy recommended these strings - wow. I use the 10-50 and they are by far the best strings I have ever used. They feel amazing, sound amazing the longer you have them on - I know that sounds hard to believe but trust me. I put my current set on 10/1/23 and they still sound amazing as of today, 12/3/23. I've had 3 gigs with these strings each gig lasting 3 hrs, plus I play at home regularly. I will likely change them this week, but I'm hesitating because they still sound amazing and feel fantastic.

Great sound!
I thought I'd try these new offerings from Ernie Ball, even though they cost way more than I usually spend for strings. I don't really care about strings lasting forever or being break-proof. In 20 years of playing 5-6 nights a week as a professional musician whose main instrument is acoustic guitar, I could count the number of strings I have broken on one hand and have enough to play a Django solo left over. So, while the durability of these strings is reassuring, it is not why I give them 5 stars. It is the sound. I have a great acoustic guitar, a Johnny Cash Signature Martin, an amazing instrument. After putting the Paradigms on it I could not stop smiling, all the deep rich bass tones and sweet mids and trebles of my baby all sounded better than ever. A big smile took over my face on first strum. I will keep using these despite the expense. So far they have held up great after a month of playing, and I am not a gentle player, I strum hard, beat those chords out and pick like the devil. So, maybe the longevity will be a good thing, all I know is, these sound terrific!

Best I've found
They sound great and last longer than the more expensive brands. I started out with the other guys and tried ernie ball's, I probably won't go back.

Unbelievable tone
I tried these on my new Taylor because the strings they recommended went dead after a couple of days of moderate playing. All I can say is WOW, I was expecting something a little brighter until I broke them in but these were perfect immediately. I think these are my new strings!!

Give them a week.
I love the tone of Ernie Ball Earthwood acoustic strings, but I hate changing the strings so often. I bought these for their longevity, but read some bad reviews about their sound. After playing them for about 4-5 days, I was about to agree with their lower quality sound. I planned on changing them out the next weekend, but as the weekdays went on, their sound got sweeter and sweeter. By the next Saturday I was in love with the tone my solid wood spruce/mahogany Guild was ringing out. If you don’t like there strings, give them a week or two. They may surprise you with the best sound you’ve ever heard coming out of your guitar.

Ruim
