VionicPismo Lace-Up Shoes

I've reassessed....there are some issues
I have almost exclusively Vionics on my shoe rack - boots, sneakers, clogs, sandals, flip-flops, slippers - ever since discovering them 7-8 years ago. They have eliminated my PF issues. I never walk barefoot around the house anymore. I keep Vionic Tides next to my bed at night and just slip them on as needed. I tend to wear 6 in sandals and 6.5 in shoes/sneakers/boots. Only the "Sunny Rae" slip-on sneaker was ever super wrong-sized for me. This "Pismo" (in spring-like lavender) fits perfectly right out of the box. The support feels good so far (haven't worn it outside yet in real-world conditions). The padding under the ball of the foot is pretty thin and bend-y, but that's in keeping with a "Keds"-style sneaker, so I'm not disappointed with it. Good space in the toe box so my toes aren't squeezed. The shoe doesn't slide off my heel when I walk, so no blisters. There is some gaping on the left and right side around my ankle area, but it doesn't bother me. Shoes are cute with or without footie socks. My only design issue is that "frayed edges" look...when will that trend be over? These aren't cut-off jeans in a 1970s movie. It looks like those little thread loops could snag on...something, not sure what, but it's a dumb fashion idea, Vionic. Otherwise, good shoes!UPDATE: OK, now I have worn these in real-world conditions and the thin, bend-y sole is not so good. If you have issues with your feet (pf, bunions, etc.), I would not recommend these shoes, unless you put in some extra padding with a stiff base insert. When I walk on pavement, there is virtually nothing between the bottom of my super-flat feet and the concrete. The very flexible soft sole on these shoes means that the balls of both feet take a beating with every step and my left-foot bunion is none too happy either. I'm going to only wear these if I know I won't have to walk much or be on my feet very long - like going to the movies. Otherwise, by the end of the day, my feet are actually in pain in these shoes. Sorry, Vionic - they're cute but very punishing, without the support I expect from this brand.

Comfortable
I really like these shoes. Very soft and comfortable. I have wide feet with bunions and these fit well. They are so soft that I can wear without socks. Arch support is good but overall not a ton of cushion. However, I can go shopping in these or be on my feet for awhile and these feel good. The struggle for cute shoes that don’t hurt my feet is real and these are great!

Lightweight & Comfy
Very pleased with these shoes. They are super lightweight, easy to pull on, and comfy. I was a little nervous at first because they don’t feel as cushiony as other Vionic shoes I have, and the arch support isn’t as high as I like, but I’ve worn them for a few days now and (finally) I don’t end the day with aching feet. They are so lightweight I almost forget I’m wearing shoes. The style is super cute, I just hope I can keep them clean (got to try to remember not the wear them in the garden), and we’ll see how well they hold up in the wash 🤞🏼They are a tiny bit snug at the toe - I am between a 8 and 8.5 - if they had half sizes I would’ve ordered 8.5. But since the material is flexible, they don’t bother me.

Love them
Too cute!! and comfortable! I have high arches and really have to be careful so P.F. does not flair up...so Vionics are my go to shoe. I have several pair of Vionic mesh tennis shoes and a pair of leather 'converse look' but have been looking for something new...ran across these on the Vionic website and loved them. But I know to check Amazon first before buying, sometimes find them cheaper on Amazon...which I did with these....and no shipping cost with Amazon Prime. So Win Win....cute, comfortable shoes @ a great price. Will be ordering another color!

Happy Feet
Vionic has a slam dunk with this shoe. I own several different styles of Vionic shoes and flip flops. My preference is always flip flops, but, my knees are like can't you give us a break? Living in TX walking or running shoes are too big, bulky and HOT. My feet sweat even in flip flops.....and socks, no thanks! These casual sneakers are just so comfy! They feel like a slipper when you put them on, yet, have support for your arches and heel. This is my first day wearing them, and so far...well I'm in love. I'll keep wearing them for a couple of weeks to be certain, but, I can see a rainbow of colors in this style in my future for sure. Thanks Vionic, my feet love you for all you do for them.

A miracle for my feet!
I've searched for casual lightweight, comfortable yet supportive shoes that would accommodate my foot problems for so long, that I can't believe I found them. Actually my friend came over and said to try hers on because she thought they'd work. They worked so well, I now own two pair. My issues are painful neuromas and the need to wear a 1/2" lift in my right shoe for a leg length discrepancy due to hip surgery. Because of these issues I needed a wider toe box so the ball of my foot and toes didn't get squished and that the back of the shoe was high enough to take the lift without my heel popping out of the shoe. The Vionic "Pismo" style checks every box and is helping realign my hip and back by allowing a normal stride, and the pain reduction is amazing. The stretch laces that I don't have to tie, removable sturdy insoles and machine washable are nice additional perks. They have an excellent return policy if you are hesitant, but since there aren't a bunch of shoes that address neuromas, it's worth a try. I'm so glad I did! I hope it helps you!

Issues
I have the white pair and love them sadly the blackish ones aren’t the same. The top part of the shoe and the laces are way too big. The white pair is soft but the blackish ones aren’t. I tried 2 different pairs from 2 different places and still had an issue. Sadly they went back.

Love these
I love it for its look, and for the arch support. I wear them when I use my elliptical and extra cycle. They are so cute that I don’t want to wear them outside, because I don’t want to get them dirty. I just might have to get some for outdoors. I own a couple of other vionic sneakers that lace up for outdoor use, but I expect to buy the Pismo in more colors. Since wearing anything vionic, my back pain, my knee pain have disappeared. Chiropractor suggested it was because of a fallen arch, and not a knee or back issue - I think he was correct.

Soft and comfortable.
A lovely colour and really soft and comfortable. I’d have given 5 stars but there is a stitched-in label inside the right shoe which has a rough edge. This rubs against my skin which means I can’t wear them without socks. A bit of a drawback for a beach shoe!

Comfort and look good
So comfortable and makes such a difference having support.I have a standard width and would say my feet are broad, they fit perfectly and I wore them immediately without socks

Very comfortable.
Takes the shape of your foot so do not worry if they feel a little tight initially. Having said that, do order your normal size ( including a half)

Very disappointed Returned them.
Far too small and was narrow fitting compared to other Vionic purchases of sandals and slippers. The fabric finish looked a bit ragged in parts
