Nice iron
Needed to replace my aging soldering iron with one that has a few more settings and smaller tips. A few on Amazon to choose from but the digital display on this one swayed me. Works nicely, heats up quickly and a good selection of tips for fiddly work.Only complaint is the stand is a little flimsy.

Cheap but decent.
This kit is really feature rich and for the price I'm really happy as it works a treat. I love the self contained case, this is a kit that can easily travel with you, rather than the traditional cumbersome soldering irons. The only downside is that the tip of the iron pokes through the sidewall of the case, this hasn't caused any damage to my case yet, but heavy use could see it start to perish. I have used this a couple of times, on both occasions it performed well, heated fast and delivered consistent heat. I think for small or household jobs this is the iron for the job, anything more commercial or requiring higher temperatures it's probably going to struggle.

Temperarute manageing
The iron itself is a little too heavy for the stand. It falls over with the slightest nudge. The stand could be a little heavier to keep.its balance

Easy of use
Great for hobbies easy to use I used mine for wiring leds for lighting effects on diorama only thing I would make people aware of is the stand for the iron is very light compared to other stands I've used in past which has weighted base as this one does tend to cause the iron to fall over if u not careful other than that great to use specially with the adjustable hear setting which heats up really quick

There are better out there
I had an old soldering iron which lasted 40 years! Just a basic pug it into the wall job that worked until it stopped, bought this but I doubt I will get much use out of it, feels flimsy and the heat barely melts the solder they supply, will try it out on my own solder. If you do buy this I would make sure the temp setting is on very high to get any results. The rest of the kit it came with poor quality feel to the items
