Firstly, this isn't undersized, which I was afraid of. It's slightly on the larger side, which is great! The shorts have a drawstring, so they are adjustable if you're concerned about that. The material feels really nice, and the mesh inside the shorts is intact friendly!! It is barely even mesh, but not quite smooth. At this age most babies are in swim diapers, but for any who are not this is safe to wear alone. The little hat is flimsier than expected but cute on, held up fine, and covers the skin that's hardest to protect, by way of a strip of fabric along the bottom. It's cute, it's well made, and it is just fun watching my little guy toddle around with dinosaur spikes lol.

My little dude is a beast. He is over 40 lbs and 3 and kept having issues with his swim trunks. They would be too tight on the right but big around his waist and with no stretch to allow for him to play and bend. These perfectly fixed the problem! Waist cord to adjust, and good swimsuit material that allows him to move easy. He loves the hat too! He never wears hats no matter how much I plead and he wore this one in our gym’s indoor pool for an hour! Haven’t worn the shirt outside of trying it on since he wears floaties at the pool, but once we hit the river this summer her will get good use!
